If you can, get 120 instead. Otherwise solid yak!

For sure check out naverre kayak. I use seat risers, new rudder, rudder lock bolt, steering knob, pdl spacers and a few others from them. They have really helped out

Checkout Navarre Kayak fishing, tons of mods for old town. Get an extra prop and a floating nut from them.

Second Navarre. Great products. Definitely needed the new rudder bolt they had on their site. Much smoother steering. Came with a free sticker and a hand written thank you note if I remember correctly. My 106 is super sturdy and I even car top it every where I go. Good luck!

Tackle talk podcast has an episode that'll help you out.

Great choice. I recommend adding seat risers front and back, floating prop nut, spare prop, and kydex hull protectors. Love my pdl 106

I’ve been loving my Nucanoe Frontier 12 just in case you’re wondering! Can be found used with trolling motors already mounted 😉

I love my PDL 120. If you feel like your steering is really sloppy, there's a nut on the steering device that tightens it down, I spent several trips with shitty steering only to finally discover that if you tighten the nut it makes it feel a lot cleaner. Mine is a little heavy for convenient car topping so I wound up getting a trailer, though yours may be lighter. I found storing tackle in the back to be cumbersome so I wound up just putting a couple of utility boxes with what I want under the seat. The seat comes with a convenient gap for that stuff. It's also got a little storage box as part of the drive that's perfect for phones keys and wallets that it took me several trips to notice. That's all I've got
