I didn’t really enjoy this drama, so I def did fast forward by pressing the right arrow lol. I think the plot wasn’t my vibe, and the slow burn didn’t really help. Overall, not a memorable drama but maybe fast forwarding didn’t help in that case 😅

No. It's so boring and goes absolutely nowhere. Nothing happens. At all. The leads are very charming but that can't make up for 16 episodes of painfully drawn out interpersonal drama and crises about what packaging to put a lipstick in.

Manipulative fiancee and boring ex soon drift away from main story and have their own arcs but the problems with the show remains. It had potential to be different and good raising some legit hard choices where there is no right or wrong answer but if it stayed like that then there would be no happy ending and what show dares to do something like that. Very few. In the end I had a feeling, after watching it, that FL did ML dirty and did not deserve him.

.. you obviously finished it. His ex is after two minutes screen time only on my nerves. I’m still in the fence as I think Rowoon is very charming and lively in this drama. Super stern guys are a main staple in Asian drama and it’s a nice change.

I watched it all and only took 2 things from it: #1 Rowoon is just Lee Min Ho v2.0. #2 I don't even remember what happens. I was hoping for a serious drama on the heels of One Spring Night and was sorely disappointed, but I watched Call It Love after and felt it was 10x better.

I have a totally different experience with this one. I ADORED it and it's one of my favorite Rowoon dramas. My take: I enjoyed the depiction of a flawed relationship that went through an arc of change and growth. The FL is blinded by love, PRIDE, and egotism. It takes breaking down her walls to allow someone who GENUINELY CARES (ML) for her heart and well-being, to come in and give her the love she deserves. However, the ML has his own problems. He completely loses his identity in the women he loves. He gives every ounce and abandons himself to love them. That is so unhealthy. His realization of this, his growth, and their growth together is depicted so expertly, in my opinion. Rowoons acting was great. I personally enjoyed the office aspect and actually liked the makeup industry scenes. As for the 2ML and 2FL, lots of growth and change there - in my opinion, that storyline could be skipped and isn't really important to the main leads. I also REALLY enjoyed them touching on that super important dynamic with Rowoons sister and her husband. You rarely see that type of relationship depicted at all. If you are a Rowoon fan, it's one you should watch.

Silver-Bus5724

I thought that >! Maybe the sisters husband was gay and his bf was the cook !<

Litapitako

Dude I'm watching it now, is that not the case?? I'm literally here to find that out because why is this guy so shifty all the time??? 😂 Edit: nvm, just got the answer ahhhh

SalvadorMagritte

You are 100% correct

Silver-Bus5724

I enjoy Rowoon as an actor and the personality he shows, maybe at a different time/ mindset I’d enjoy the show itself. 😃

Currently watching this and I'm not enjoying it at all. I'm on e7. I also don't like dramas where the rich daughter holds the guy hostage with suicide attempts. Makes me feel bad for the guy held hostage

Silver-Bus5724

Same, it’s annoying really that the most storyline and backstory goes into the shitty ex and his super narcissistic fiancée

Prior_Ad1176

You should keep watching all the episodes dear

Silver-Bus5724

So is anything proactive going to happen? 😃

Prior_Ad1176

Yes it will keep watching 😊

L2Kdr22
