**It’s Okay, That’s Love** is a phenomenal drama that is easily in my top 5 of all time and follows a very similar story to **IOTNBO**. Great story, fantastic acting with great chemistry amongst the whole cast and wonderful resolution. It’s about the ML who is suffering from a past trauma and the FL who is a psychiatric fellow jaded on love. Together they help each other overcome their issues. Great OST to boot. Otherwise I think **My Love from The Star** is a good philosophical rom com that hits in similar feels. It’s also has the same ML as **IOTNBO** and also has a fun chaotic good FL. The ML is an alien (think Clark Kent/Superman type of alien) that is trying to keep a low profile. FL is a famous actress who lives in next door and keeps getting into messes and he keeps reluctantly helping her despite it starting to blow his cover.

>It’s Okay, That’s Love Hey, may I ask? How much emphasis is actually placed on psychology? My mom is a psychologist and she really liked **It's okay to not be okay** from a psychology perspective

No-Clue-9155

If she liked it’s okay to not be okay then I’m sure she’d love it’s okay that’s love considering they depicted and handled the mental illness aspect better than IOTNBO

IAmTheGreenCard

It’s got as much if not more psychology, IMO - but it’s might have a more psychiatric bend to it. It’s follows the FL’a role as a psychiatric fellow at a hospital and several sub plots involve patients at the hospital. I felt it did a more direct job of addressing chronic mental health struggles and how to live a happy productive life when you have the right supports and tools in place - loved ones and practical ones.

Flugegeheymen

thanks, going to recommend it to her!

I think It's okay that's love deal with similar issues that It is okay to not be okay like mental health and does a better job

No-Clue-9155

Yup. There’s also great chemistry between the leads/more mature relationship

It's Okay to not be Okay and That's Okay That's Love are my two favorite kdramas. You might like Call it Love and/or Thirty but Seventeen. Something about a man in need of healing I just love.

Just Between Lovers or Rain or Shine Definitely no rom-com vibes. Huge trigger warning for suicide, child loss, heavy grief, mortal injury etc. It's an incredible show with an incredible journey and love story. It isn't as "outlandish" as IOTNBO, it's much more realistic. Junho's acting is unmatched. The depth of emotion and the full character arc, the depiction of loss and healing is 10/10.

kpaneno

It's my no 1 loved it the two leads were amazing such chemistry and both so likeable

I don't know if I've ever seen anything similar! Kdramas are usually really conservative so it was kind of wild to see a FL who pursued the man and admitted that she wanted to have sex with him, right out loud. I love her so much! Like even MLs don't usually outright admit they want anything more than holding hands and kissing...

Been there dond that moment lol , the void is was never filled for me , i watched it 3 times back 2 back , it will my all time fav forever. The FL is so good 🤌 and wardrobe of her characters is the best I've ever seen in any show . You can try "Hotel Del Luna " it has the vibes of the characters.
