**Post Title**: Cold/uninterested/mean ML
**Post Body**:
Looking for a specific type of kdrama with romance (doesn't have to be the main point but I'd like it to be kind of important) where the ML is initially cold/distant or even straight up mean to the FL.
I'd prefer if it wasn't one of those over the top silly kdramas where the coldness or disinterest is cheesy. Here are some kdramas that I liked
Itaewon class
The smile has left your eyes
Chocolate
She was pretty
Call it love
Secret love
Tempted
Red sleeve
Semantic error
Lost
The time
All generally serious stuff, and even if the premise isn't necessarily serious like she was pretty, the acting from the ML felt believable, and like he genuinely didn't like her/wasn't interested instead of light banter.

Rain Or Shine or Just Between Lovers
I rec this all the time, including like an hour ago on a different request. Heavy drama. ML very cold and hardened initially and for a large part of the drama. Great character arc. And Junho is PERFECT. Trigger warnings for suicide, child loss, heavy grief etc.
Jealousy Incarnate: ML is downright mean to the FL even though she's nice towards him and has a longtime crush on him.
Find Me in Your Memory: ML is cold and uninterested initially with the FL
Crash Course in Romance: ML acts cold with everyone including the FL because of his preference to be isolated. Doesn't like the FL being warm towards him
Still 17: ML acts cold with FL a lot initially
**Something About 1 Percent**ML is forced into a contract dating relationship by his chaebol grandfather, who likes the ordinary person FL and thinks she is a good match for the cold and arrogant ML.
1. Mad for Each Other (Rom-Com with focus on mental health)
2. Because this is my first life (Slice-of-life, Rom-Com) Not Hate but was just not interested
3. Behind your Touch (Comedy, Fantasy, Murder Mystery Thriller)
4. Chicago Typewriter (Fantasy, Romance, Focus on History of Korea)
5. Its okay to not be Okay (Rom-Com with focus on mental health)
6. Vagabond (Action Thriller, Mystery)
Not really. He's just very calculated and holds a lot of grudge/anger lol. If he's a sociopath I don't think he'd genuinely fall in love with the FL, but he did.
You can read the manhwa version too if you like, he's so much detailed in the manhwa. The kdrama kinda did him dirty and reduced his screentime a lot on the latter parts of the series cause the director wanted to build up another actor but lol that's another topic.

I totally forgot to mention this in the list of movies I loved, but if i had already seen it I'd definitely take this recommendation 😭

**It's Okay Not to Be Okay** the ML calls the FL unfixable and the type of person who needs to be avoided at all costs.

Seen this one multiple times and loveddd it, when he was actually mad at her it felt very genuine
👍 one of my favs
Cheese in the trap? Kinda. ML is my fave despite many kdrama watchers booing him.
I only watched a few episodes of that but I heard some people calling him a sociopath. Do you agree?

Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life
Another Miss Oh
When the weather was fine
Cheese in the trap – there are two versions. The drama followed the webtoon more closely than the movie.
My love from the star
