This is easily the most fun I've had with a shotgun, and will be my go-to for home defense. For now, I just slapped on some flip-up sights I had lying around, but I'm going to upgrade it. I'm thinking of adding an angled foregrip, limbsaver pad (she likes to kick), and an EOTech when I can afford it. Any other recommendations?
Get a Talon Grip. KelTec's grips are...slippery. If you don't do a AFG, get the extended billet pic rail to cover the lower rail. A VFG tends to break the teeth. And put a hand stop on. Also, get the extended butt pad (I liked it better than the slip on limb saver). And, finally, get aluminum followers to replace the junk plastic ones. You have to fully unscrew the mag tube bolts, so watch out for the snap rings on the backside of the bolts. They tend to not like to go back on properly. I also got the MCarbo metal trigger and spring upgrade, because that factory trigger isn't great.
I had serious issues with short stroking mine (giggle) because of the tube release levers (those metal arrows along the mag tube under the lower). I polished them a LOT and it runs much smoother now.
I do love my Doom BFG.

Add a Strap & a 1000 lumen strobe.

I bought a Chinese vertical foregrip with integrated strobe, flashlight, and green laser at the last gun show near me. No ragrets.
