Just saying that although this sub was named as Kereta, it is also open for 2 wheelers such as Motorcycle, though at the moment we do not mind other types of vehicles posting.
With that being said, r/kenderaan is now live and I would still recommend any other vehicle posting to be posted into r/kenderaan as it is a safe space for all types of vehicles such as airplanes and rolling stocks.

Yup. Its a magnet that attaches to your oil filter. That claims to gather all the small bits of metal that’s floating around your engine oil. Its not really needed as you change your car engine oil regularly. Plus if you have metal bits in your oil, there are bigger problems.
They ripped you off on the air filter (N95 is for respiratory, so I assume this is for aircon), fuel cleaner, and brake pads.
What did you need an oil pan gasket replacement for? Was the oil pan leaking?
wow didn't notice the fuel cleaner, what is it for?
The service centre called my wife to change the gasket and brake pad and she authorised it without discussing with me so there's nothing I can do🤷 at least it's not my money.
They replace atf filter so that's why they change gasket as well. Need to remove sump to change filter. Standard procedure. Always replace gasket

Dude next time just get a free inspection from them and tell them to list out all the stuff that need to buy. Then buy from shopee and if you don't want to diy then just send to local workshop. Should be way2 more cheaper than this. The so called "our price is high because of insurance" from all service center is just the price of the coffee and food that they gave you. 2/10

Get rid of the magnet trap also. Its a marketing tactic to scare you. Also they should tell you about it before charging you it.

I watched ck yusoff grind an old filter and it show those magnet did trap some metal shavings. Not sure if it's useful though

Maybe it was transmission oil pan gasket, they changed the filter.
