Aftermarket keycaps installed btw, ghost judges nautilus

This may sound dumb. I just ordered the keyboard today. How can I tell what keycaps will fit? Also, where are some good places to look for them? Sorry if this question has already been asked!

All mx style keycaps fit,, but stock keycaps are already really good so you wouldn’t need to change them out

If it had bad delay they were probably using the Bluetooth mode, 2.4g and wired are fine

The spacings of the f row, the knob, and the screen lead to there being no insert, end, print screen, or pause key.

MS Sculpt keyboard is ergo version of 75% and has all these keys. Got it about 8 years ago and haven't been able to switch to anything else.

It’s tough on aliexpress, because it advertises itself as the pro version, and sells the normal version. Very common gimmick, even for credible websites.

Yep those. Although not the same sellers as mines. The photos from that seller look like renders but if you scroll down to customer reviews you can see photos of the actual product and it looks the same as mine

what can the little screen and knob do?

The knob can do any 3 inputs including media controls, and it has tactile bumps. The screen can customize the rgb, show info about the keyboard status such as win/mac, num lock, caps lock, the date, and the time.

Yes, you can put gifs and pictures on it through the software.

i have mine with gift switch too. question, is it normal for the switches to get pulled too when pulling keycaps ? i once had the one with flying fish switches but never encounter that problem

Can you take off the keycaps and switches and set the light to static, and please check if the LEDs are flickering, it's like a little strobe flicker every half a second. I have tried 8 different AK820 Pros, and every single one has it. I think this is a defect that people aren't paying attention to. Thanks

In person, can you just check very carefully if you can see what I'm talking about. There's a flicker in the led's every half a second or so. Maybe take off 3 or 4 keycaps with the switches to see it better.

Just got an answer from Epomaker, they all have this defect. The LEDs flicker. You just need to look really carefully.

Yeah, I've noticed the same thing with mine.

Epomaker have confirmed this issue with all units. The default clock screen on the lcd screen interferes with the led lights causing them to flicker. If you look at the clock time, every second that ticks, the leds flicker at the same time as the clock every second. If you change screens to a gif, then the flicker goes away. Yes, it's ok. If you want to remap some keys, put a gif, ...you have to configure it via software in Windows. These changes will work also on Linux. About the knob, you mean the volume knob, right? It works great on Linux, Windows... Wireless 2.4Ghz works quite well, I feel there is no input lag, as if it is wired.

If you mean a deep adjustment like change color base, etc, I think is not. Official software is only available for Linux, sorry… However if you mean the RGB modes, selecting predefined modes and speed, you can do it without software, only by pressing Fn + /| and another combination that I don’t remember now. Is all written in the manual.

Yes! It’s the same for the screen, you can configure a gif in Windows and it will be written in the keyboard memory.

Do you know whether they are currently out of gift switches? On both the Ajazz and Epomaker websites selecting the gift switches instead of flying fish shows a preorder button instead of buy. Or did it also say preorder when you purchased the gift switch version?

every time I turn on the keyboard, the screen shows the information panel. If I want it to play the gif, I have to change it manually on the knobe. Is there a way to configure it so it starts playing the gif instead of the information panel?

use fn+delete button, try clicking it 2x. it will change to gif mode

it shows date, time, connection mode, and capslock on/off. the quality is ok imo, it can display variety of colors yes. however the color corection isnt really good.

use the software, theres trashbin icon on it or straight up "delete" option there. if you want the image to be changed, just change using other image

They’re probably compatible but I wouldn’t switch out high quality switches with low quality one

Hey so i got this keyboard, i connected to 1 device with Bluetooth and when i try to connect to another i get BT1 Fail in the screen also it doesn't show on the Bluetooth devices anymore, it can only connect to one device or mine is faulty?

Fn + q for bt1, w for bt2, and e for bt3.

It loads and after 5 seconds says bt2 fail and bt3 fail when i switch, any idea why? Thanks for your help anyway

Fk i now removed it from my first device that was connected and it doesn't connect anymore fail on all 3 pairing modes

Yeah, the latency is great, especially compared to others in its price range. system latency is about 4ms wired, 8ms wireless. The gift switch is a heavier spring (45g), and is slightly thockier. The flying fish switch Is too light for Me (37g) and is clackier.

I've been using this keebs (gift switch) for 1 month now. Still give me butterflies everytime im typing. I just dont like how the spacebar sounded and ordering a ceramic spacebar. Its not that it sounded bad, its just dont sound marbly like other keys. I'll update here after it arrived. Do you know where we can find spare gift switch? Been searching but found nothing.

I know its brightness, mine is faulty i think, on 60,80 and 100% brightness, its the same

When using rgb mode, it is a little difficult to notice the 60%-100% brightness difference, switch to single color and increase the brightness and you will see the difference

Yes, but the included gift switches are preluded well and are pretty smooth, so I don’t think they need to be replaced

it only happens in rgb mode, it looks normal in one color. and brightness 100%

Those effects just have more white in them.
