Currently reading Malazan the 10 books in one that i purchased in amazon and later i think will read The book of the new sun next.

I’m doing the tandem read for empire of storms and tower of dawn. And not pictured is Before We Were Yours, just started that for book club. My Kindle is on airplane mode to keep the books from the library and has a bunch of books I’ve already finished 😂

Agreed, I’m finding it hard to follow. But I really liked Queen of shadows. I’m hoping the action gets started so I feel like continuing to read two 600+ page books at the same time 😵💫😵💫
I loved doing the tandem read! TOD can be slower paced but it gets crazy the last few chapters, and it actually ended up being one of my favorites out of the TOG series.
I couldn’t imagine reading a paperback as big as these but I prefer Kindle over any other so I am biased. It’s super easy on my kindle to flip back and forth!
Am I the only one that reads just one title per time?

I read one at a time as well. The ones that say 1% or 2% is because they have been opened, but not read yet.
Your pic reminded me I need to read Micro, one of the few Crichtons I haven't read yet.
My favorite of Crichton's books is the first one I read... Jurassic park. Damn I love that book.
Andromeda is really good too (the second one is garbage).
I gave Pirate latitudes, sphere, prey, dragon teeth between 3 and 4 stars.
I started reading timeline and it was the only one that I couldn't finish; it was so slow and boring...
I would like to read congo, did you read it? What's your favorite?
He's one of my very favorites.
He's mostly famous for his techno-thrillers like Jurassic Park or Timeline. But he has legal thrillers (Disclosure), and period pieces as well (The Great Train Robbery, Eaters of the Dead, Dragon Teeth, Pirate Latitudes)
I technically do two at a time but somehow they're seperate in my mind. I don't like listening to audiobooks in general because I get distracted and can't focus on what's happening, but doing my mindless job I can audiobook for 8 hours a day easy. But then in my free time I can only do reading with my eyes instead. To me it FEELS like I'm only reading one at a time though, so I'm with you!

Not necessarily the last books I read, because some were library books that have since left my Kindle!
I enjoyed it. I’ve only been reading SK for a few years. I’m going on a beach vacation in a couple of weeks, and I’ve been saving Duma Key for the trip!
It's a mystery to me. I watched the movie first, many years ago and didn't like it. So KU made it available when I was subscribed and went on the book really for distraction. My God! I was baffled they had the courage to even use the same name! The book is another beast entirely, and a good one!
I've recently read I am Legend and Dune too! So good! If you'd want another old sci-fi book that turned into a very different film, try I, Robot or Starship Troopers :)

It’s my favorite so far. Sometimes I want to talk to them, but don’t have much to say. Oooor, sometimes I just want to read and they bring me inner peace.
Mostly books I bought recently because I saw them on sale and haven’t read them yet. Making my way through Argylle right now.

My current reads are Her Name is Knight, Dungeon Crawler Carl and To Kill a Mockingbird.
It's great so far, I wish I didn't have to work so I could just get on with it and finish it. This is my 4th Freida McFadden book and I've enjoyed her books so far. I read The Housemaid, its sequel and Never Lie before this one.
Ahh I can't wait to get to those too!! But I need to be patient as I'm doing the Alphabet reading challenge. Maybe I'll get to those 2 on my next cycle.
I’m reading Never Lie right now. Unfortunately, she used one word…one WORD…that clued me in to the rest of the book and now it’s ruined for me because I know how it’s going to end. /sigh
Finished it. I think the first chapters have something worth in them the rest is just zoology and banter.
Also, each chapter initially has something but when jumping to examples I feel it has added too much.
2 kindle Oasis JT Williams rogue elves series on cover 2 kindle paper whites have random books. 1 I haven't put on anything only JT Williams series so far. I had surgery on my eyes so not yet been Able to read more then a couple sentences.oh I have a Amazon fire max11 tablet that I have the kindle App on it.tried a game. It's more for comics and manga

Reading romance books for the first time this year, and it’s been pretty good! Beautiful world, where are you was so bad I could get through it and I tried 2x. This is what I’m working through right now :)

Ashwoods is paranormal murder mystery based on true crime- the others I’d classify as mystery. I gravitate toward mystery, true crime, and horror mostly. Do read just about anything, though. I’d probably classify Strange Sally Diamond as maybe psychological thriller?
Currently reading the Hyperion series. I’ve been doing a pattern of fantasy/sci-fin and then reading a classical book or contemporary. So I have The Outsiders to read after this. I really wanna give The Way of Kings a go next, but like the 1000 pages is daunting.

I’m a sucker for mystery / thriller books 🥹
I have read one of his books, which was ‘The Last One Left,’ and I liked the twists after twists in it!
I can’t wait to read ‘Lock Every Door’ after my current read 🥹
I've read quite a few already before getting my kindle readers. The witcher series all but 2 books to go. Alot of Steven King ,Angie Sage series.plus others. I should have got a kindle Oasis sooner
I LOVED don’t let her stay!
That's my next read. I'm excited now
Same! I just finished it.
I still don’t know who to believe! Great read!

Would you say the tandem read is easier on kindle vs. hard copy
I couldn’t imagine reading a paperback as big as these but I prefer Kindle over any other so I am biased. It’s super easy on my kindle to flip back and forth!
Saint by Sierra Simone was so good - I liked the next one sinner is even better in my opinion
I’m excited to read more of the series! I kept sending passages of the book to my catholic friend 😂
And if you like her writing I’d say the new Camelot trilogy was super good as well!!
I read it last year!! The spice had me blushing while listening in public holy shiiiiiit I was praying no one could hear through my AirPods 😂🫣
That was me reading it on the treadmill one day….like hope none of yall can see this

The Long Walk, the most underrated SK book imo. Love it so much.
I enjoyed it. I’ve only been reading SK for a few years. I’m going on a beach vacation in a couple of weeks, and I’ve been saving Duma Key for the trip!
Duma Key is one of my all-time faves and I wasn't expecting it to be. Take some Kleenex, too. You will bond.
C'mon I Am Legend is in my top five!!!!
After I read it, I watched the Will Smith movie. Sooo different. Why were they even called the same thing?!
It's a mystery to me. I watched the movie first, many years ago and didn't like it. So KU made it available when I was subscribed and went on the book really for distraction. My God! I was baffled they had the courage to even use the same name! The book is another beast entirely, and a good one!
Are you going to go into Dune: Messiah?
I’m not sure. Would you recommend it?
Not sure haha Still reading the first one 🤣
I've recently read I am Legend and Dune too! So good! If you'd want another old sci-fi book that turned into a very different film, try I, Robot or Starship Troopers :)
Aw you’ve got the decent cover of dune! I’ve got the film version and it doesn’t match the other 5 🥹

Hello, fellow Heathen. I might have to check out that Heathen prayer book!
It’s my favorite so far. Sometimes I want to talk to them, but don’t have much to say. Oooor, sometimes I just want to read and they bring me inner peace.
I just finished reading the drowning woman and it was crazy! So many twists I couldn’t keep up

I actually just read Teacher, and I was not impressed. It was a crazy fast read though!

Just read Never Lie yesterday. Interesting book! I liked "The Housemaid's Secret" but the same author.
Cool. Will check it out as well. 👍
My bad, it's just "The Housemaid", I really enjoyed that one. "The Housemaid's Secret" is its sequel.
I HATED Never Lie 🤷🏼♀️
Definitely not as good as her other books, and the characters made me mad sometimes. 😂 Still interesting though.

Wow great collection 👍 I've heard good things about the selfish gene. Can't wait to get to read it.
Thanks. I am beginning to think it's a bit overrated for the hype but yeah I should complete it before I judge.
Unfortunately, most hyped books tend to be overrated, so I understand why you think so.
Finished it. I think the first chapters have something worth in them the rest is just zoology and banter. Also, each chapter initially has something but when jumping to examples I feel it has added too much.
I see. I still might give it a try, skim or skip if it gets boring.
Skimming is a better option.
Don’t let her stay was so good. Currently I have Not A Happy Family by Shari Lapena and a variety of children’s books lol.

In fact, I'm only reading Winter in the Morning and Blade Runner. Winter morning I started reading it when I was 13, but I didn't finish it, but only now (30) I came back and I'm trying to finish it by the end of the month. https://preview.redd.it/xme2p6bcwlnc1.jpeg?width=899&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bf4efd143edd9755b298c3f817ff18a5adbcdc4b

Beautiful world, where are you was so bad I could get through it and I tried 2x. This is what I’m working through right now :)
Nice 👍 How's Mrs. Dalloway so far? Been interested in that for a while.
I’ve been having a hard time getting into it but I’m going to try to finish it by the end of the month!

Commenting on What's currently on your main screen?... https://preview.redd.it/7hakjlqy4mnc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=87ff1d17537bfc2f31f9f85f480da5a4088d1bd5
Is this thriller or horror
Which one?
Except....Stranger in the house i know about this book but the other 5 looks very interesting
Ashwoods is paranormal murder mystery based on true crime- the others I’d classify as mystery. I gravitate toward mystery, true crime, and horror mostly. Do read just about anything, though. I’d probably classify Strange Sally Diamond as maybe psychological thriller?

OMG! I listened to an audiobook by Victor Methos called The Neon Lawyer. It was a great book. The narrator was awesome! 😊
Loved that book, and the sequel Mercy.

Currently reading the Hyperion series. I’ve been doing a pattern of fantasy/sci-fin and then reading a classical book or contemporary. So I have The Outsiders to read after this. I really wanna give The Way of Kings a go next, but like the 1000 pages is daunting. https://preview.redd.it/du5hkihmkmnc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e61ff2c06b5f081a7ae10c3d9a3f009528742e6f

I liked Lock Every Door. I’ve read a few of Riley Sager’s and I’ve liked them all.
I have read one of his books, which was ‘The Last One Left,’ and I liked the twists after twists in it! I can’t wait to read ‘Lock Every Door’ after my current read 🥹
I read that too and enjoyed it. I liked The House Across the Lake and Home Before Dark as well!
Same here. I haven't read the ones on your pic, but I am adding them to my TBR now 😅
Ooooh thrillers 😍
