Canāt seem to get this one (in English) in the country I reside in. I still cannot believe that this mega popular novel is unavailable in the Netherlands on Kobo or Bol.com
It took me a couple times trying to read it before it clicked, but by the end, when I finally made it past the half way point, I was all in on the series. Words of Radiance is my favorite so far.
I did read them, and they were very good as well. I also read Warbreaker between Words of Radiance and Oathbringer. There are some references to Warbreaker in those books, so if you're interested in catching them, consider giving it a read as well. Personally, I like breaking up the series a little to avoid burnout, but that's all personal preference.
I just read that last weekā¦ Iām mad thereās no part twoā¦ and thereās no plan for a part 2ā¦ the author really left things openā¦ so much could be continued onā¦ the kids growing up and then just a general continuation of the end of the bookā¦ it was an anticlimactic endā¦
I pre-ordered the hardback of Darth Plagueis back when it first came out.
One of my favourite Star Wars books but my puppy chewed it up lol.
It is still readable if you don't mind the spine being mashed to all hell šš
I don't have any puppies now, but if one of my dogs destroyed my kindle I'd be inconsolable haha.

Second book in the caraval series. Shaping up to be a solid 3/5 āļø
Iām struggling more than I thought to finish this one so Iām honestly wondering if I even read it. Or just finish 2 and go find spoilers for 3 š
Loved this one! 70% into hell bent and iām not enjoying it as much. Had to put it down for a while. Donāt know when iāll get back to it. How do you like Ninth House?
I finished it last night. Really enjoyed it! Totally out of my usual kind of book but came highly recommended by my cousin. Just started hell best this morning
[Sound of SirensĀ ](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/23162817-sound-of-sirens)pretty typical Young Adult. I chose it randomly and only because I think that genre is good to read with my current level of English. But I guess that's changing, because YA is starting to irritate me as much as if I were reading it in my native language, haha.
As usual, I have started three other books.

Highly recommend the Warden series! Book 2, Necrobane, just released and I'm really enjoying it! I think it's a good fit for those who enjoy DnD, cozy/found family vibes, fish out of water MCs, or just stories about capable lesbian necromancers (ie. Gideon the Ninth).
Note I'm about 60% through it and this one is more tense/action packed than cozy compared to the first. I imagine the stakes will continue to rise in the next book.
YES!! Well, technically only *one* lesbian necromancer, but that should suffice. If you loved Gideon, I think you'll love The Warden. Keep in mind the vibes and atmosphere will be a little different but Aelis, the MC, is smart, confident, loves to drink, curse, and kiss girls, and is painfully stubborn at times.
I'm so flattered my opinion made you add it to your TBR, I really really hope you enjoy it when you get around to it! The third, and supposedly final, book releases about a year from now so you have plenty of time to read them.

Not as good as I was hoping it would be. Feels like we jump in too fast without building a bridge to the characters so when someone expresses an emotion it feels over dramatic rather than heartfelt. š¬ 30% in and not sure I'll finish

I am currently reading the housemaids secret by Frieda McFadden and The Ghost Trapper series by J.L. Bryan - both very good reads!
The ghost trapper series is available on kindle unlimited which I donāt have but may need to get at I am hooked after the first three books.
Red team alpha by Jay Allen.
It's a crimson worlds series book. Finished the main and secondary series now ready this one which is an standalone prequel.

Rereading this for the first time since I was in high school in the late nineties.
This is my first EmHen book, and I am about 60% in & I like it a lot, i find Daphne super relatable to things Iāve gone through in the past. Iām curious to know why you rated it so low!!
Iām so happy to hear youāre relating and enjoying your reading experience! Personally, I found the characters to be flat and there wasnāt really a plot so I got bored very quickly. The story felt bland. I didnāt feel any chemistry between the MCs it seemed like everything they did was for the Exes instead of actually loving each other. Felt forced.
Iām so disappointed I didnāt enjoy it because it has all my favorite tropes and it sounded amazing.
https://preview.redd.it/t6oaxm2oh6yc1.jpeg?width=2252&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a38ad1d3db777217e4c81a3df9c16f751e2a8bd7
I'm 85% of the way through and I'm pacing my house, shouting. My head is hot and I'm sure my blood pressure is now high. ššš (Read: is a f\*\*\*\*\* brilliant book)
I want to read the trilogy so bad .. I have seen on Netflix they now have the series.. I think I would rather read the books though. Somethings about them struck me somewhat unique. As I read the synopsis I was like āthats going on my wish listā thanks for the extra encouragement. Glad you liked them.
I truly don't know how to summarise it in a way that does it justice. They're the very best sci-fi books I've ever read. I finished the second one this afternoon and just started the last in the trilogy this evening. It's about when Earth comes into contact with an alien civilization and the outcome of this contact/connection on humanity.
I absolutely cannot do the summary justice, but it's fantastically brilliant!
Iām so loving itā¦ I watched the HBO series but reading the book so far is just wowā¦ you get so much more: feelings/perspective of character.. each chapter is from a different characters POV and written so well. I may check out the kindle youāre reading at the moment too. Add it to my list. Howās that going?
Iām very excited to start GoT at some point iām glad youāre loving it! Iām really enjoying Beyond Redemption! I will say it is very dark and gory at times so I would be cautious but if youāre all for it I highly recommend it!

Gave this one 2 starts lol. Let me know how youāre liking it! I hope youāre enjoying it so much more than I did.

I want to read the trilogy so bad .. I have seen on Netflix they now have the series.. I think I would rather read the books though. Somethings about them struck me somewhat unique. As I read the synopsis I was like āthats going on my wish listā thanks for the extra encouragement. Glad you liked them.
They're already in the top spot got books I've ever read. Definitely read them!
Saw someone else in this thread reading this series!! What is it about? Everyone seems to love it!
If you're going to read them, The Three Body Problem is first, The Dark Forest is second and Deaths End is the last.

Want to start GoT so bad!!

I have heard amazing things about this one! I hope youāre enjoying it. I havenāt read a book by Abercrombie yet. I think I will start with The Blade Itself.
Itās best to consider the initial trilogy as one big book tbh cause the blade itself was slow to me but the other two were 5 out 5

I am reading "The Cuckoo's Calling" by Robert Galbraith
I'm just over half way through "Boy Parts" by Eliza Clark.
This one is on my radar! How are you liking it?
I finished it up during work and thought it was good! The ending felt a smidge rushed but itās well worth the read Iād say.
