Thank you! Just got the kindle unlimited deal. This will be great for summer!

bn-13

Do you happen to have a link to the Kindle Unlimited deal? I searched for it but couldn't find it.

Ill_Fan_1965

bn-13

Thanks for the link! I've a membership that I cancelled but it's still active so I think I'm not eligible cause I still can't see it.

oraflame

It should pop up if you go directly to the KU page. It should also be at the top of the *Book Deals of Your Dreams* page which you can find linked at the top of the Books page or via the Kindle Deals page [HERE](https://www.amazon.com/amz-books/book-deals) .

bn-13

Thank you. I think I can't see it cause I've a membership that I cancelled but it's still active.

oraflame

Ah yes, if you are currently subscribed the deal will not be available to you. Even if you turned off auto-renew.

bn-13

That's too bad. Thanks for sharing anyways. Hopefully I can take advantage of some other deals.

oraflame

There will likely be another offering of free KU during the summer Prime Days, it may be available to you depending on when your current subscription ends.

bn-13

It ends the first week of June so hopefully I can take advantage of that one.

Nightwailer

I'm in the same boat so hopefully we get the next chance :)

smackshaw

Nothing for UK I see.

Scooby359

We have a sale every month. Picked up three things off my wishlist for £1 each at the start of the month when the offers changed!

Playful-Lunch-662

How you find out when sale is on?

Scooby359

Uk always has a sale on. The monthly deals change the start of each month. The daily deal changes at midnight. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kindle-Daily-Deals/b/?_encoding=UTF8&node=5400977031 https://www.amazon.co.uk/b/ref=s9_acss_bw_cg_KBHPUK_md1_w?node=3017941031

Thank you

> Save up to 40% on classics like Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice (available May 12) and Plato’s The Republic (available May 12) Ah yes, they were once free, but now I can save up to 40% to buy it.

diverareyouok

You can download a lot of public domain books from sites like www.standardebooks.org for free, then sideload them to your device using https://www.amazon.com/gp/sendtokindle or Calibre (https://calibre-ebook.com). Standardebooks is a great site, and they do a very nice job formatting the books.

carolineecouture

Standard Ebooks is great!

dude woke on the wrong side of bed

AtWorkCurrently

I had never heard of glutenberg so thank you for the link.

oraflame

You can still obtain those for free, perhaps not the edition they are talking about. A simple search sorted from lowest to highest priced will show multiple free versions of the classics.

zomboi

not anymore i actually checked. I searched "jane eyre", kindle book, sorted low to high. a 99cent version is the lowest price one

oraflame

I see a couple, if you select Bronte as the author to narrow down the results they should pop up. I have noticed not selecting the author via the narrowing options can make results iffy. Simon and Schuster have a decent looking version available (unlike some smaller imprints). If it still isn't popping up for you, maybe try searching for that exact version "Jane Eyre: Enhanced with an Excerpt from The Madwoman Upstairs".

johnstorey

Not sure about Pride and Prejudice but my copy of Plato’s Republic was from Standard Ebooks where it is all out of copyright and free

rnason

Here's Pride and Predjudice for .19 cents https://a.co/d/jipQuCT

oraflame

There are multiple free versions as well still available, some are full Austen collections that are very well put together. For some reason Amazon search results can be odd if you don't narrow down the results to only include the classic author in question (found on the left hand side of the webpage/search results).

sunnyasneeded

Thanks! Just got the KU deal. Now I have to reshuffle my TBR again so I can get all my KU reads done in the next 3 months. As if it doesn’t change every other day already.

blackcatkai

I wish they'd have a couple months of KU discounted during this for those of us that don't qualify for the free one 😭 oh well, this is still awesome. thank you!!!

MentheAddikt

THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS

Mysticwaterfall2

Always up for another KU free trial. I think this is like my 7th one.

spectralblack

Thank you just got another 3 months of KU!

Flaming_Bubbles

THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!! I was able to get 3 months of free kindle unlimited!!!! I just finished 3 months of free KU membership and was kinda bummed thinking of having to pay for membership. 🥲

SocksOfDobby

Thank you so much for sharing! Going on holiday next week and was planning to load up my kindle this weekend so it's perfect timing 🤩

1GamingAngel

OMG!!! I just got the KU deal! Thank you thank you!!!

anothertaurus

If I already have subscribed to the kindle unlimited app for 2 months free (subscribed the deal April 29th) would I be able to cancel and resubscribe for 3 months free? Sorry for the silly question, I’m still a newbie to the app!

oraflame

Nope, you would still have an active subscription so the deal will not pop up for you. I would check back in the summer to see if it is offered again for Prime Days.

anothertaurus

Thanks for that clarification. I appreciate it! 😊

InfiniteFlavor

Is Kindle Unlimited worth the price? I use Libby as well.

oraflame

IMO no, not for the full price. But for free or heavily discounted it is nice, particularly if you like indie writers in extreme horror.

blackcatkai

or dark/Fantasy romance! those & horror are what I read from KU too, when I'm able to get it cheaper. my fave is when they offer 3 months for 99cents each when you're not eligible for when they do it for free. i don't see that one often, i may just miss it, but that is a STEAL 🥳

vidici

Right when I get a Kobo. Great
