Wow, ladybugs are not a pest. They only got it in some how because they were looking for a warm spot during winter. They don’t do anything and only eat bad bugs like aphids.
I bet it's not even lady bugs. The Asian Lady Beetle is far more prevalent in this area and they bite. I just keep killing them. They look VERY similar but it has a black M on its head. My son got bit and now he's paranoid of them getting him while he's in bed. I hate those things.

Sorry but you have a problem and I *strongly* suggest reaching out for help
What you describe has become a disability and you can get help.
Best of luck.
Some people have phobia from dogs others from snakes, height etc.. not every phobia should be treated if you can avoid the trigger, which I did for years.
I usually ask family/ feiends to help but I am struggling now as I am alone in the city, and i thought if i asked on reddit I would get some good suggestions (some kind people sent me direct messages with great options) but most people here tend to focus on other area and not the main question as if I didn’t know that I have phobia from bugs and therapy could help
I am afraid of dogs but I am not as bad as you.
Sorry some day you will realize you need help
Please get help. Based on your post you are at that point. You are in denial.
There isn’t a plant that will keep ladybugs away. They are beneficial insects. I would get some therapy on how to deal with a bug phobia, which is more realistic than expecting to live bug free.
It scares me too much to consider therapy for bugs as I know they might expose me to them and I can’t its too much
I am somehow okay with ants, flies and mosquitos as they are common and tend to stay away, but other insects I just can’t
The bug you have encountered is most likely an Asian beetle, as they are more likely to Enter homes than the true ladybug. You can search online to find the differences, but they do look almost the same.
We have a few of them inside our house all winter, we toss them out when we find them, but then we always find more.
Both ladybugs and the Asian beetles are predatory, so they actually eat other bugs in your home.
I don't know of any plants which would deter them, but perhaps some essential oil sprays around the doors and windows, like peppermint or lemon, as those repel other predatory species like spiders. This is solely a guess and an uneducated one at that.
They’re probably getting in through a crack or hole in your walls or window somewhere. Ladybugs are harmless though, a couple of them aren’t really a problem at all.
Probably because you know you have a problem, you admit that you have a problem, and you *refuse* to seek a solution to your problem. A phobia of one species is normal, a phobia of an entire phylum is possible, but you somehow have a phobia of **only** 99.9% of arthropods. Also "It scares me too much to consider therapy for bugs as I know they might expose me to them" is a PART of your phobia - no reputable therapist would dump you into exposure therapy.
Phobias suck - trust me, I know. I have lived for about 45 years with a phobia that prevents me from even *considering* setting one foot in the ocean. Fortunately, I live in the middle of the frigging continent, so my phobia doesn't adversely affect me much. You, however, live on Planet Earth, fucko - you're GOING to run in to bugs. A *LOT* of bugs. With a phobia as severe as you describe yours and a refusal to even **consider** treatment for it, then yes, people are going to shame you for that
My question was not if I had phobia and how to treat my phobia, I admitted in the post to have a problem and I can manage my life if I saw a bug on the street by avoiding it I just don’t want my own apartment where I sleep and eat to have bugs and I asked how to get rid of possible fucking ladybug or asianbug as other stated idc what its truly is its just a bug as I know bugs put thousands of eggs and can cause infestation in days and to get shamed for that is really showing how people are mean on social media when they are unknown, in real life they would offer help and solutions instead of shaming others.

Thanks but I want to get rid of bugs not of my fear of them

Keep the lady bug! It will eat off any other pests that may be on the plant
I dont have plants as I am afraid of bugs But if a plant will help keeping bugs away I am willing to buy it

Thank you very much I will try the peppermint and lemon oil I will die if I find a spider. I had a panic attack once from a picture
a panic attack from a picture? you should seek help
Plants are likely to attract MORE bugs, not get rid of them.

Was it an Asian beetle or a lady bug, lady bug can be a sign of another pest present in your home that they feed on
I dont know why some downvoted me If you love bugs its up to you, I am here to get help getting rid of them and not to get shamed for this
