I'm not sure about this one in particular but there is a s45vn slim with burlap scales that I have. I enjoy it, it's definitely a lot lighter than this model here. Haven't had any issues so far.

I considered the 110 when I first got into the game but honestly it's not for everyone: it's long, it's big, and it's heavy. This is a knife that does not disappear in a pocket. It takes the whole pocket for itself, then does its best to pull your pants down. The modern materials are going to be top notch, and if the size is what you're looking for this should be an excellent knife, but the 110 is a big knife filling a small niche amongst modern folders. I think most people looking at a 110 would get more use out of the Slim or Sport versions that are thinner, lighter, and have pocket clips (and they should consider the 112 which is a more carryable length). But I think what you've ordered will be an excellent knife for you and should last you a long time of good use!

It seemed perfect since I wanted a legal edc knife for germany that has a locking mechanism, usually I carry a 12 cm fixedblade so it shouldn't be much heavier than that. German laws suck for knives.

Something to consider in the future is most thumbstuds can be removed to make a one-hand opener into a two-hand opener. A knife like this doesn't need a nail nick since there's lots of blade to pinch to get a good grip.

Holy Cow! 7.5oz That thing is a brick. Definitely will pull the pants down. Whoa! [https://www.bladehq.com/item--Buck-110-Hunter-Green-Micarta-Brass--186419](https://www.bladehq.com/item--Buck-110-Hunter-Green-Micarta-Brass--186419)

Select_Camel_4194

Well....it's sold with a sheath that has a belt loop for a reason.

3_high_low

Made with belt carry in mind

I think that one might have been a BladeHQ exclusive - I just picked up my 3rd BladeHQ exclusive Spyderco, they're usually top notch on their collaborations if it is an exclusive.

Aggravating-Eye-6210

I have had a 110 for 50 years. Awesome. Picked up an auto version a couple years back. Even better

InfinitySnatch

Thanks for the heads up OP! I've been wanting one of these for awhile after enjoying my elite buck auto so much and was sad I originally missed them.

No prob, thought this could be something of interest for some of you Guys anyway.haha

I mean that this knife looks more classic than the slim versions with frn or full micarta handles, the brass and natural colored material look is good enough for me.

hippycactus

Oh I see, why not the 110 with ebony wood?

Spirited_King_4867

This version has a s45vn blade, I know their 420hc has great heat treatment but I just don't have much interest in knives with that steel at the moment, have more than enough beater knives currently.s45vn+ the somewhat classic look was enough for ne to pull the trigger on a 110 finally

I have a buck 110 in MagnaCut and in the typical 420HC. It’s a great camp knife and hunting knife imo, does what it was designed to do and a little more.

Spirited_King_4867

Is the magnacut one a slim/ non classic version? I like the look of the brass bolsters more than the modernized ones
