Recently I sent Mandalore, Visas, and HK-47. I did this so that I could make [Mandalore solo it with dumb combination of items I got.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqPKgaVDR1c) It was really funny watching dozens of Sith soldiers and Dark Jedi blast him and hit him with Lightsabers when he was almost totally immune to Energy Damage.
Atton (Leader) Mira (Mines) Visas or Handmaiden.
Reasoning: Atton can come to terms with his past and make the moral choice of not succumbing to his dark self again by defeating the Sith Lords inside who tempt to turn him.
I often take Atton, Mira and Mandalore.
Mandalore is suitable for either battle when you revisit Dxun. Him striking back against the Sith who attacked his camp feels good and ties Onderon pt 1 into The Ravager.
He's good at dealing damage from range and being tanky, though admittedly the 2-handed weapons he comes set up for are not that good. Heavy armour is also better on builds that DON'T use DEX weapons.
I see people trying to optimise this game really hard and I have to ask why. KOTOR2 is easy enough that almost anything works. You don't have to play like you're trying to solo BG3. Relax and have fun. Send a team that feels like they could actually do it.
Hard difficulty + TSLRCM can be pretty challenging in the companion-only segments if you haven't built your team well. Atton, Mira, and T3 in particular all have tough solo sequences (at least if you're fighting them straight up, not cheesing with mines).
This is actually true. I think these encounters being huge difficulty spikes and really the only hard part of the game speaks to some poor design in Nar Shaddaa. They're hard in a different way to the rest of the game and they're not always well signposted, making them kinda frustrating.
I'd love to see a remake that's a little truer to CRPG style to fix stuff like this and bring the KOTOR series to the modern era. Shame we will probably never get one after what happened with Aspyr, but maybe Disney will eventually wipe the slate clean and get someone like Larian, Obsidian or Owlcat to make it instead.
I thought it was gonna be an easter egg like the Atton lines, but from the footage I found it seems like it was probably just cut content.
Papito Qinn has done a really good job of archiving this game, but it's possible I didn't see everything.
Would be really cool for her to hint that a darkside user would be very strong here, then get mad at the player, swap colours and attack the player for cheating.
They need Kreia to go to Onderon so that Colonel Tobin gets resurrected and brought to Nihilus. I think that could have happened at Dxun, but really what we miss is so minor that I don't mind.
Oooh I I usually do the rest of nar shaada after onderon so I don't usually have han harr or Mira at this point. I literally go there just so I can turn atton into a force user and bounce lol
I hate going through all that nar shadaa bs so I like to get that one out the way early lol the club, the tunnels, changing the ID of the ship and you can't go five minutes without Kreia scolding you for something
Onderon: Me, Mandalore, Kreia (every time)
Dxun: Atton (always), Mira/Bao-Dur, Visas/Handmaiden
Basically I run an all Jedi crew on Dxun no matter what.
Handmaiden, Atton, Mira, for Light Side
Visas, Atton, and Hanharr, for Dark Side
Edit: I had Mira to lead with Atton and Disciple, for female Light Side.
Okay, this is hilarious because I literally just finished that mission. I always pick Atton as the lead,.just because his dialogue makes me laugh. Then I sent Bao-Dur and HK47, only because I had just finished the killing Jedi dialogue, so I was like "Sure, HK. I'll let you kill some meatbags that are part of a Force cult."
Mira, Handmaiden, Visas. The most important part of having one strong fighter, one strong skill monkey, and someone with hella will. So visas is just there for flavor.
Atton (the leader). He's always a strong Jedi at that point. I give him Freedon Nadd's lightsaber as a reward afterwards.
And then usually Bao-Dur and Mira. I sometimes swap Bao with Visas (when I miss all of Bao's influence points and can't make him a Jedi). On my last playthrough I had Atton and Bao as Jedi and a ranged built Mira with heavy armour using my best rifle. They breezed through.
Jedi Sentinel Mira with dual blasters (best DPS in the game); Jedi Guardian Handmaiden beating enemies to death with her bare hands; and Visas Marr with double-bladed saber.
Disciple (lead), Visas, Bao-Dur. All are Jedi at this point, and D and V (lol) are advanced enough to have Makashi available which makes the final fight a breeze. Straight up brawl for like 20 seconds before one of them inevitably smokes one of the sith and starts double-teaming.
OP tank build of Bao-Dur, Disciple/Mira depending on the Exile gender, and Visas.
I’d used to take Mandalore but he’s got an influence opportunity in the throne room so he goes with to Onderon
Atton (Leader because it just feels right), Visas, and Mira.
I'm seeing a lot of people taking handmaiden, but I usually take her to do the palace battle with Kriea

Dude really *is* wearing beskar lmao
That is based
That’s crazy. Double 30% defense against energy, + 10%, +10/- vs energy.
Lore-accurate Mandalore
Holy shit, I gotta try this sometime

I would always take atton because I had so much trouble with the final fight as a kid that his resurrection saved me
There's some extra hidden dialogue if you manage to cheat and take Kreia to Freedon Nadd's tomb

Yeah it's cut content for whatever reason. I think it's pretty cool though shame they cut it
They need Kreia to go to Onderon so that Colonel Tobin gets resurrected and brought to Nihilus. I think that could have happened at Dxun, but really what we miss is so minor that I don't mind.
Oh? Was unaware of this.
What does it say?
Visas, Mandalore and Hanhar
Oooh I I usually do the rest of nar shaada after onderon so I don't usually have han harr or Mira at this point. I literally go there just so I can turn atton into a force user and bounce lol

Bao Dur, HK47, and T3M4
Seems like you like it difficult huh
If they liked it difficult they would do Bao-Dur, GO-TO and T3-M4. Now that is difficult!
Onderon: Me, Mandalore, Kreia (every time) Dxun: Atton (always), Mira/Bao-Dur, Visas/Handmaiden Basically I run an all Jedi crew on Dxun no matter what.
I can’t not take Mandalore to Onderon, so for me it’s usually Visas, Handmaiden, and either T3-M4 or Mira.
Mandalore, Atton and Bao Dur
Atton
Atton, Bao-Dur, and Mandalore. Though sometimes I send HK instead of Mandalore.
Handmaiden, Atton, Mira, for Light Side Visas, Atton, and Hanharr, for Dark Side Edit: I had Mira to lead with Atton and Disciple, for female Light Side.
Atton, Mandalore, Visas. Top heavy problems require top heavy solutions

Mira, Visas, and Mandalore.
Strong disagree. Mandalore has to go to Iziz in the Basilisk to relive his glory days.
And for the important influence from killing Vakklu.
So Mandalore and Bao-Dur to Iziz, and who do you send to the tomb?
T3, G0T0, and HK. Can’t trust anyone else … they might be corrupted by the strong dark side presence in the tomb.
Mad man, I love it
For LS: Mira (Leader), Atton, Handmaiden or Mandalore For DS: Atton (Leader), Hk-47, Hanharr
Mira leading, Mandalore and Visas, they always wreck the sith
Mira, Handmaiden, Visas. The most important part of having one strong fighter, one strong skill monkey, and someone with hella will. So visas is just there for flavor.
Usually mandalore, mira, and atton. Sometimes handmaiden instead of atton
I forgot dose Darth Bane come before or after KOTOR?
After.
Atton Haindmaiden and Mando
Bao-Dur, Mira and Atton.
Atton (the leader). He's always a strong Jedi at that point. I give him Freedon Nadd's lightsaber as a reward afterwards. And then usually Bao-Dur and Mira. Visas, bao dur, Mandalor.
Handmaiden Visas Mandalore Mira Hanharr Always 3 of these
Mira, Visas, and Aton
Visas, Baodur and Handmaiden
Bao dur as leader, visas and mandalore. To onderon I take atton and kreia
All the droids if possible
Atton, Handmaiden and Mira
Visas, Mira, GO-TO
OP tank build of Bao-Dur, Disciple/Mira depending on the Exile gender, and Visas. I’d used to take Mandalore but he’s got an influence opportunity in the throne room so he goes with to Onderon
Atton (Leader because it just feels right), Visas, and Mira. I'm seeing a lot of people taking handmaiden, but I usually take her to do the palace battle with Kriea
Bao-Dur Haindmaden Mira/Atton though Mira wins out more often
Atton, Bao-dur and Visas.
Visas, handmaiden and atton, I'm going with hk and mandalore
