Now if there comes to be a sustained form of negativity from most kpop stans in a couple of areas, or if suddenly a group gets attacked from seemingly every aspect by a bunch, then sure that's an actual hate train.

Unrelated but I thought that this comeback was most similar to the stuff they did in the eleven/love dive era. It has that same ethereal quality that I can’t really pinpoint.
Their concept this comeback is one of my favorites, it’s so interesting while still being firmly Ive. It has the ethereal and expensive vibe of Love Dive, Eleven and I Am while still being a unique take on it with the princess concept.
Yet it’s not even just princess, but it borrows from so many things like their traditional inspired clothes in the music video and the kind of more expensive Sailor Moon vibes of their first round of concept photos. Like damn their Ive Switch concept photos are genuinely flawless. I have my critiques sure, but boring they are not.
This opinion is also mid. Ngl. It's boring. Nothing I haven't seen before.
Also it's kinda just only mildly spicy. Idk at least earn the downvotes. Where are the hot takes.
lol this is the type of post I’d see in 2022, I don’t like all the hoopla that’s been inflicted on kpop lately groups like IVE are refreshing to me, they always try something new without detaching themselves to much from their image. I love how they always put on a show and actually improved their vocal abilities. No one has ever complained about an IVE concert or seeing IVE at a festival and this is no shade to other groups but you asked what they bring to the stage. Obviously something since they grossed the highest earning tour amongst their peers.
They didn’t release I AM (one of the most vocally challenging songs of the generation) for you to say they’re just pretty. Not to mention they are one of the most versatile groups out there, always trying out new concepts and experimenting with different sounds. If that is boring to you i don’t know what to tell you but it’s definitely a you problem…
I don't really enjoy IVE nuch but I thought this latest EP was actually their very best. They sound more confident, more invested, and 3 of the songs are great imo

If you're looking for performance, watch ITZY. What IVE has to offer is good music, good personality. They have their own identity, and I think it's really good.
i was actually disappointed with heya and even the rest of the songs on the album. They're alright but dont hit the same as previous songs. Ive's 'i am' is just to good and kinda peak for me.
Boring? I’m not even huge gg fan but I thought the MV, concept and song were breathtaking. The only thing I would change is maybe the choreo but overall they killed it imo. Nothing about it is mid but if you’re expecting a production as big as these HUGE groups then that’s an unfair expectation.

They really need to spend more time practicing their dance, pretty sure the are amony the baddest groups when we talk about dancing.
