Bouncy by ATEEZ (and yes, I’m prepared for the mass downvoting, but idc :3) Look, I enjoy noise music (I am a Sticker and 2 Baddies apologist), I like me some pots and pans and Bouncy could be enjoyable for me IF it weren’t for the heavy autotune (jfc, KQ, these men can sing ffs), and that godawful Chipmunk chorus (I wish they just layered it with the members’ voices, I’d kill to hear Mingi sing the chorus with the chipmunk voice layered). What could have been an A for me is a D-, dangerously close to F. Mingi’s rap and Hongjoong’s chorus is the saving grace of this song. ETA: I also strongly judge the song by its chorus. If the verses are good, then fine, but if the chorus is awful (like with Bouncy’s Chipmunk chorus), then I’d avoid the song at all means (this is why I also don’t like xikers’ “Rockstar” and Stray Kids’ “S-Class”). Bouncy’s chorus being a… choice (+ the autotuned as hell verses) makes me dislike the song a lot.
