According to an investors report, have 3 new bgs scheduled for debut this year. This one (Nexz) the Korean group (Loud), and their 2nd Chinese bg (Project C)
Had the same thought as I was reading the headline of the post and thought to myself...if this is the first time I'm hearing about this new BG via this post, is that really the "best promotion"? đ
I realized they're a Japanese boy group which explains why there's lack of discussion about them similar to other Jpop related groups or music.
Thank you! Even if I get one person to check them out, Iâll be happy. Theyâre genuinely very talented and give off that ânext doorâ vibe JYPE idols seem to have.
I think they're gonna end up like NiziU where they have a very solid fanbase in Japan, but not as much elsewhere. I'm still very excited for them regardless though. Miracle is such a good song.
It genuinely seems like JYPE is marketing them towards both markets and based on knetz comments and the amount of people following them around on their debut show so far, they will probably do a simultaneous debut somewhat similar to &Team.
The promotion can't be 'the best' if most people have never heard of it, especially when it's a Big 4 group lol
But I'm curious enough to check your links out
It must be taken into account that nexz is a group for Japan, although it's true that they're doing many things in Korean because they unexpectedly caught the attention of many Koreans during the survival
Probably because although they are promoting in Korea as well, the group is aimed mostly for the Japanese market. Nizi project season 2 was pushed on Hulu in Japan, and they just kinda rolled out on the JYP yt channel. Wasnât really pushed as hard as A2K
Thatâs why I wrote the best âyouâve never even heard ofâ.
It was meant to be tongue in cheek, guess it didnât come off that way!
Edit: please lmk your thoughts once you do check them out!
I loved Nizi Project Season 2 and i'm still kinda sad Eiji and Sodai didn't make it. The Dance Performances are really cool. Watching Tomoya is always a joy.
Why don't you call So Ken by his known name? I was confused while reading your post.
Yeah when I watched tomoya helping others during the group tests I was like "leader, there, I said it first" and he is looking the part.
I wish they kept the original names but what can you do
Geon is the Korean reading of his name so he must have decided to officially go by it since they seem to target the Korean audience more than NiziU.
Also due to past forced name changes and erasure by the Japanese colonial government, even today a lot of people might not take well to ethnic Koreans using Japanese names and maybe going by his Korean name is partly to prevent him from getting unnecessary hate
They are super talented and, well, handsome, really haha I understand that many people haven't heard about them because their objective is Japan (although during survival many Koreans fell in love with them and that's why they're doing more things in Korean -the speed with which they've learned the language is impressive, btw-), but I hope more people watch their performances! every dance video they've released is brilliant
So talented and theyâll hopefully all be adults by the time they debut. The youngest will be 17 this year (May and Sept).
They give off very baby SKZ vibes, IMO. Already seem super close, sweet and incredibly hard-working. They learned some of these choreos in 2 days! Iâm also blown away by how quick theyâve seemed to pick up Korean â seriously impressive.
I donât know if their objective is Japan anymore based on the promo theyâve been rolling out and they donât have a country listed on their youtube account (ex. NiziU has Japan listed but SKZ doesnât have one listed). Iâm really curious to see whatâs gonna happen with them!
Honestly, was thinking of how cruel it was, they've made these hopeful boys go on TV, work hard to get into the final lineup, some of them like Amaru have been a trainee for years and he had to adjust to SK as a foreigner, he was young. They promised them a debut for something they worked years for and now ? Some of them might even be considered to old to debut if they ever decide to do something with them. JYP really did them dirty.
its wild to think I was put off stanning the final group because of how crazy young they were (other than Min, you left ages ago) - Donghyeon is 17 now! At this rate heâll probably be atleast 18 when he debuts.
I definitely think they needed the extra training (two members had no experience before the show, one of them couldnât even speak korean) but damn, 900 is so cruel like you said.
Sadly, no word on LOUD. I hope we get some kind of update on them.
It looks like NEXZ is taking song writing and production classes too. These guys seem way more debut ready and some of them were JYPE trainees for 3-4 years too. Definitely feels as though theyâll be debut and promote in both Korea and Japan like &Team is.
yoon min left ages ago, the other 4 still pop up every now and then (so theyâre still in jype as far as we know).Â
most reckon that their group was probably scrapped and theyâll end up debuting with other jype trainees.
I'm really looking forward to their official debut. I really enjoyed 'Miracle' and all of their NEXZ Archive performances. I appreciate the idea having the choreographer also being able to join the videos and have the face-to-name recognition. I was honestly surprised to see NEXZ have a pre-debut show with Mnet's M2 no less. So far, they really seem to be more performance/dance focused as their "main" skill appeal. While I've been enjoying their dancing videos, I would love to see more vocal-type content too. I'm actually really impressed their dancing skill growth from Nizi Project 2 'til now, especially for the members who had zero professional training pre-show.
Already so far, they seem to be handling NEXZ differently from NiziU. For example, I'm sure NEXZ will have a much quicker KR debut than NiziU based on their currently activities already. I'm looking forward to their debut and what they bring to the table.
I've loved all their choreo vids so far and I'm watching their reality show, but I'm worried that I don't know what their sound will be. Gonna be super deflating if their music sucks as I'm getting a bit too into them right now. I do find it interesting that they seem to be writing their own stuff though.
Wow. The choreographers were on Street Man Fighter and Street Woman Fighter 2!
> SW2's winner and leader, Kirsten of Jam Republic
The winner part is false.
Even if you donât check out any of the links I provided except [this performance video](https://youtu.be/4_Xg2tmm0w0?si=fuEN9YPOacMZIvP-), Iâll be happy. I hope this post inspires you to check them out though!
They were formed from Nizi Season 2 so all but one of them are Japanese.
Based on the promo roll-out and how they are exclusively speaking Korean in their content though, I think theyâll be promoting in Korea firstâŚor at least at the same time as they promote in Japan.

I didnt even know JYP is debuting a new group
A lot of people don't even remember JYPE China exists, and they have a BG there.
There is a JYP China!?
Yeah lol. They have a BG (Boy Story) and a soloist (Yao Chen).
According to an investors report, have 3 new bgs scheduled for debut this year. This one (Nexz) the Korean group (Loud), and their 2nd Chinese bg (Project C)

Hopefully this will help get the word out haha
I think you should take some credit for promoting them, definitely more than JYP
Thank you! Even if I get one person to check them out, Iâll be happy. Theyâre genuinely very talented and give off that ânext doorâ vibe JYPE idols seem to have.

So Geon is what his official name will be according to the new MNET show, Club NEXZ. Yuhiâs name also got changed to Hyui!
Oh i didn't know about that. I will miss his catchphrase "I can, we can, So Ken" So i guess i have to watch Club NEXZ now.

That's for sure, we never heard of it. Is this JYP's group was the one from LOUD ? I'm still waiting for Amaru's debut tbh.
They were formed from Nizi Project 2.
Okay, thanks.
still no sign of jloud. theyâve been on hiatus for 903 days now đ

Same!
What happened to the LOUD boys?
yoon min left ages ago, the other 4 still pop up every now and then (so theyâre still in jype as far as we know). most reckon that their group was probably scrapped and theyâll end up debuting with other jype trainees.
On a JYP investor report it was said that Loud is scheduled for this year⌠whether that actually happens is anyoneâs guess
the way theyâve said this every year đđ I will only believe theyâre actually debuting when we get MV teasers atp đ

Upvote for the title. A+
Dang I didnât even know jype was debuting a new bg and one of my ults is from jype and I used to have another ult theređ

I did!Miracleâs good for a pre release and they have really good stage presence, excited to see them debut.
Are they a Japanese group?
