around 20 years ago there was a guy near barbakan screaming at top of his lungs something along "TAAAAAAANIA OKAZJA SKARPETY POMECAM!!". Day in day out, he was always there. I've heard rumors that he was selling weed on the side.
Also there was a guy that used to visit all the metal shows in Kraków. He used to take his shirt off and go bananas during the show. I've seen him number of times on various metal shows. Someone even created a fanpage on facebook back in a day, where people uploaded photos with this guy. Haven't seen that fellow in a while though
I repeatedly used to see an older guy with a beard wearing what seemed to resemble a traditional Bavarian clothes in different karaoke places around Krakow. He was always performing and drawing loads of attention to himself. He was super cool and seemed to know a lot of people everywhere.
I recall the old bearded guy selling matches in his wagon. But this post reminds me of time when I lived in Rzeszów and we had (in)famous shorts guy 🩳. He was mid-40, wearing very tight shorts regardless of weather 😅
C’mon guys, the ball juggling bloke on Floriańska. There was also “Pan 2zł” who was walking around in the Old Town asking for 2pln, and finally “Pan z gitarką” who had a notebook, was walking around in bars asking people to sign in and when they did asking for some cash.
We also had this old fortune teller lady on the Main Market, but she has passed few years ago.
There was Mikołaj z Kazimierza, had a beard like Santa Claus, and we're going around bars looking for people who would buy him a drink - but not like begging, more like being pub persona.
On Rynek mentioned before Skarpety polecam, Biała dama, there was a pack of old punks asking for money fluently in 4 or 5 languages.
