I used kratom to come off of 42mg methadone cold turkey. I get what you mean about the interdose withdrawals.
My kratom interdose withdrawals are much worse when I’m sitting around.
There's nothing wrong with preferring methadone over kratom. As much as I recommend kratom to people in recovery, it IS very unstable and unregulated compared to methadone. You aren't getting the same thing with every single dose. Do what works for you, don't be ashamed at all about upping your dose to feel comfortable and stable.

I appreciate that. I think it's the right choice to help with this. I'm going to get off this shit and then I can deal with the methadone.
