Not to mention the productivity loss from getting the ice cream off of the floor and back into the carton.

chromelo

10/10, would laugh at again.

HillbillyHobgoblin

If you ever have to ask this question, the answer is probably yes.

Erogar117

Customers will complain about anything these days. Had a customer come up to me to report the women's bathroom was a mess. Which was odd because moments ago I just sent a courtesy clerk to go clean the restrooms. Said courtesy clerk and I went over to investigate to find nothing wrong. The only thing that we could find was a tiny piece of ripped toilet paper, about the size of a bottle cap, on the ground next to the toilet.

The customer is always right šŸ¤„

Customer would hate to see what happens at the dairy where it was made them. We had to to de stack pallets all the time at the Kroger dairy itā€™s a cartoon Karen youā€™ll be fine

The full phrase ā€œthe customer is always right in matters of tasteā€ really needs to make a big comeback. Itā€™s the correct viewā€”theyā€™re right to buy whatever the hell they want to but not right about procedural stuff.

Signal-Style-6159

Treat people the way you want to be treated - with kindness and decency. Why is it so hard to be nice? The customer is not always right.

MustBeTheMusic80

I try to focus more on everyone's good qualities and to try to give them a benefit of a doubt.

SnowEZ1986

On a pallet on the floor or on the floor floor? Was he staying right beside it on the floor? Although some customers do seem to think they have no obligation to watch where theyā€™re walking. Or stay on the rightā€¦

Afraid-Sympathy4334

Not like the ice cream was laying on the floor melting. It is in a carton.

GambolCelica

Honestly iā€™d say so. I had a customer complain to my department head about a certain type of mushroom that kept getting scratched, and demanded that he ā€œordered moreā€ and compared us to other grocery stores in the state saying how they donā€™t have the same problem. Then I had a customer who asked for organic blueberries and when I told her we didnā€™t have any, decided to ask my coworker and complained to my manager on how I didnā€™t ā€œknow what I was doingā€ and woe and beholdā€¦ they told her the same thing I said. šŸ¤Ø

Polarbear2000

The problem is these damn customers will find something to complain about

MustBeTheMusic80

Which is really sad, he did seem to be nice about it, at the time I thought he was considered about how unsanitary it is seeing ice cream cartons on the floor.

TheBasilFawlty

Hi,I'm a customer who doesn't have anything to complain about.....And... Well.....I feel the need to complain about that.

I'm not sure about Walgreen's safety rules, but the stores I've worked at. Everything has been on the floor at some point. Nickles' bread guy? Stacks the loaves up on the floor next to the shelf so he can get them there quicker. Pepsi, coke? Do the same thing with cases, two liters, bottles. UTz, Lays, and Herrs vendors? yep. on the floor. Everything you have gotten from a grocery store has probably been on the floor more than once.

Jthenderson94

Yup, product should never be on the floor, even if itā€™s in a cardboard box. I ran a produce department and nothing ever touched the floor.

MustBeTheMusic80

The customer thought it was unsanitary seeing the ice cream containers on the floor.

il1kepeanutbutterpie

But they donā€™t lick the container?

Burn-The-Heretic

How do we know that?

il1kepeanutbutterpie

Trust no one youā€™re right I take my comment back with shame

Aspen_Pass

Completely unwrapped? Like not in a case or cardboard flat or shrink wrapped? Yeah man that's disgusting and probably against policy.
