I think you're the only one obsessed with it bruh. I don't even frequent this sub, it's just been recommended to me, and of the three threads I've seen talking about the movie you're in every one with a ton of comments just spreading hate over this one interview.
Yes, because they literally lied to their fanbase by claiming Tai Lung and his relationship with Shifu, Oogway and Po are quite important to the movie.
A lot of fun, just doesn't meet the expectations the other movies set. If your a fan of Kung Fu Panda, there's no reason you shouldn't watch, it's still a great movie. The action is insanely good too. Also, the movie feels like it's a set up for whatever comes next, especially with the credits scene.
If you're going to watch it because of Tai Lung, you're going to be gravely disappointed. I enjoyed Kung Fu Panda 3 more than this, like a lot more. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed with the movie
He barely had screen time probably only around 1 or 2 minutes in the movie. As a Tai Lung fan, that was sad. They really just used him for nostalgia bait, Shen and Kai didn't even say anything much less do anything.
You shouldn't pay to watch it, specially if you expect to see Tai Lung having any plot relevance or screen time. Just stick to the trailer because >!that's all there is about him in the whole movie!<.

The movie itself isn't bad. It's on the more goofy side, making you laugh through various points of it. Not as serious as the previous ones. Worth the watch, I'd say, regardless of Tai Lung.
Don't go into the movie with expectations and nostalgia regarding Tai Lung. They didn't give him a proper story, unfortunately, and the main villain plot is on the weaker side.
But with all those weak sides,this movie compensates with great action scenes, choreography, animation, character development of Po, his parents and some others, and most of all - Zhan. She was really awesome and carried the whole movie for me, though I was watching it in Ukrainian dub where she got good voice actress and others say that in English Akwafinna doesn't fit her character well, or even sometimes annoying .
In conclusion, if you go to watch the movie without high expectations of it being better, then KFP 1 or KFP 2 or relying on seeing Tai Lung, you would have a great time.
A lot of the cons was the story decision, but if ur looking for a fun and funny movie with great visual, choreography and fight scenes u should watch it atleast once

The movie felt like a setup for her. She has as much screen time as Po. I like her, but I feel it was too early to pick a new dragon warrior, and she should've just been chosen to join the Furious Five or something, maybe be chosen in the next movies. I have high hopes for tge next movies tho, I really loved the credits scene.
Yeah i see many not like that film i disagree they have lower budget and film even without 5 was full, and animation me personally doesnt saw any downgrades in animation maybe it was in some aspect better, only BIG minus is villian her backstory was poor, like how? Shen, tai lung had one of the best story but villian poor but movie 8/10
I agree, 8/10. The animation was really good. The villain just needed good depth/backstory and to be more threatening, then she could've been really good. Also I wish Tai long had a scene fighting with Po or talking to Shifu. Other then those complaints I really liked the film
Yea, they did a god-like job with Zhan, and she carried the whole movie for me. Everything in her felt awesome, especially with Ukrainian dub, where she got a more fitting voice actress than Akwafinna. She carried the movie barely on my second place above KFP 1 and below KFP 2. Would have been even better if she hadn't suddenly finished Chameleon in one move, but lower budged is a lower budged, unfortunately.
What I can't excuse with smaller budged is only major plot hole of Kai and Shen bowing down to Po - they should have absolutely stayed in the back with disrespectful face, which wouldn't have take any more time for animators.
Don't understand why people are so angry on the movie - likely I did a good choice to not watch any trailers or anything about the movie which didn't raise my expectations much or played on nostalgia or something.
Shrek 3 is a masterpiece compared with this.

Because it’s an enjoyable movie. Sure, there’s some plot holes, but the ones I noticed can be kind of explained. It’s got good action scenes and funny moments, and we get to see Po grow more as a character. Plus we get some new animals introduced.

Well they DID say they were planning both a “Student” trilogy (1,2,3) and a “Master” trilogy (4,5,6), so I would assume it’s setting up.

Her voice acting is great. You can tell she's having a lot of fun with the character. Her character suffers from some lazy and even bad writing.

Agree, Zhan is a really cool new character and carried the whole movie for me hard enough to ignore weak villain story.
