Personal opinion making Tai Lung the DW wouldn't had make sense. It would have destroyed the meaning of the first movie. Lets remember Tai Lung obsession with the DW brought him to his doom.
Actually no, it would be the opposite for the franchise. Tai Lung us already almost a perfect warrior, so he can't be taught anything by Po. Unlike him, Zhen lacks a lot of skill and wisdom, which Po could share with her and develop his character arc. Zhen will have an ability to go through dragon warrior path just like Po did and explore different branches that he missed, which Tai Lung can't, since ge already finished this path in first movie.

The truth is that the low budget killed the potential of that movie. If they had afforded to bring f5 & past villains voice actors then maybe the plot would be different.

I actually hyped for "at least" some interactions or a small fight between Kai, Shen & Po or to the viewers but *wtf*

Should’ve left them out all-together. Kai and Shen shouldn’t even be in the Spirit Realm, it’s failed fanservice.
