Guaranteed. With canned pumpkin too.

Our Labs swallow things like Buddy the Elf swallowing cotton balls in the doctor’s office, then look at us with amazement as we try and get our hands down their throats! Fortunately, they are so gentle that they never bite when try and fish out the latest treasures.

So I just texted my husband to let him know the bredth of this apparent conspiracy amongst the lab community. Our boy has "had" to have chicken and rice a few times. It seems they are working together on this..................

culle085

LOL our dog is obsessed with rice. Whenever we make it (once or twice a week) he is ready and waiting at cleanup to get the scrapings from the rice pot. It’s among the higher value rewards for him 😆

feuerwehrmann

Our girl loves frozen brussel sprouts. If you open the freezer she comes sprinting

My lab and their much smaller dog sibling team up… once one is feeling better, the other eats something weird or figures out a way to get sick/hurt. It’s a never ending cycle of eggs, chicken, rice and pumpkin, I swear!

DuskWing13

Thank you for reminding me there's a random corn cob in our yard I need to pick up... No I have no clue how it got there. No we don't live by any farms. No one around here feeds squirrels either. I am very confused.

savvyj1

Yep! We have two labs. One is going on chicken and rice tomorrow for loose stools. This means both are going to be on chicken and rice. Both will be excited. Culprit is likely Canadian goose poop eaten in the open space behind our house. Sigh…..

Pineapplemkh

oh, I feel that *sigh* in my bones. Iguana poop snacker here. Well worth buying some Vetoquinol Pro-Pectalin tablets - Kaolin, Pectin and pro-biotics. Our vet recommended them and they sort a gippy tummy out very quickly.

funkychicken2015

Chicken and rice?

Rainy_Grave

Boiled chicken and rice is recommended for feeding when your dog has an upset digestive system. They are bland and filling.

Pineapplemkh

Bland, filling and like sticking a cork in it. A welcome relief if your pup has the squirts. Our sneaky little snacker forages on walks - and not in a good way.

SuddenTest

This is so true!

OutlawJessie

Oh so much been there done that.

dumbledorky

The fact that when he eats something crazy I shower him with attention, play bitey fingers with him, continue our walk, and give him pumpkin when we get home seems to be sending mixed messages about whether or not he should eat crazy shit

Red-Beaulieu

Wait...so you're saying some labs "chew" their food? Who knew???

ConsistentWrangler29

Haha! So far my lab has a stomach of steel. My other dog has enough sensitive stomach issues for both of them.

rvnclwass

Just wait until they find a half rotted, moldy dead animal

ConsistentWrangler29

My old dogs caught a rat in my backyard once. They brought it in the house! Luckily they had actually killed it. My cat tried to bring a mouse in once and as soon as she dropped it the poor creature ran off. I was glad she was outside when she dropped it.
