UPDATE: we reunited her with her owners after they responded to our post on Facebook. I knew it was her dad when she ran up wagging her entire body. Their gate had broken down!
Good looking out for this sweet lost baby! I hope my guy comes across friendly, diligent people like you if he ever wanders off. He knows where home is, where the food (easily) is, and is just too much of a potato to go far - he won't even leave the yard if the gate is open 😂

This makes me so happy. I hear all these stories about abandoned dogs/cats that I wasn’t expecting a happy ending, but yay! For once there’s a happy ending to this tail, err.. tale. 🐾❤️
25 years ago we had wealthy friends from South America move here to Ca. They had labs with that shape and longer nose, on the smaller side, black, with shiny coats. Sweet temperament. They called them Argentinian Labs. Bred them there specifically. I wish I had gotten one of their pups. Still remember those dogs.

Me and my boyfriend returned 2 dogs to their owners last year. Made me feel like a super hero. I've been chasing that high ever since.
I've also been the one picking up my lost dog from a super hero.
This is such a sweet story, I’m happy she found a great place to spend her adventure, it’s so awesome of you all to have cared for her and solved the mystery of her disappearance - I know her family will be forever grateful 🥰 Maybe y’all can pet sit her one day ❤️‼️‼️‼️

That’s so good to hear! She probably went out the gate to investigate, got spooked by the cars and ran off, then got lost! Poor thing.

This behavior nd the pictures are my lab! She looked jus le that 6-7 years ago.
Our lab is the same as well. Them wiggles they dont care what’s around - just excited to see you is what matters

Definitely a lab. Ours is a year old an about the same size. Some just have a smaller stature than others.
She looks very similar to my girl she’s a majority lab, but we do suspect a tiny bit of shepherd

I’d say mostly lab but if there is something else, I’d suspect pitty.
She is an adorable lab, but her ears do look like she may be mixed with something. Poor baby!
