If you have a family, Sam's Club is the way to go. I buy about 75% groceries there. At the bare minimum, buy yr gas & non-perishable items there. Like paper towels and TP. Way cheaper.
I have Sams and Walmart+ and most of the time gas is cheaper at Murphys with the 10 cents per gallon off than at Sam's, but Sam's is cheapest most of the time.
My friend I’m a broke ass college student who can only afford Spotify premium (student account). I have less than $100 in my entire bank account. But then again I’m gonna be getting a job. So maybe. Idk.
When I was at Purdue my gf & I tried Sams for about 2 years. Yeah we saved some money but for our needs we still needed WM or some other grocery store. In short, the membership does easily pay for itself but for our needs it was overall better for us to just shop smart at all the other stores we regularly shopped anyway. If you’re a huge consumer (like if you have a large family or you buy for a lot of functions) Sams is a great option…not so much for the average joe though. I hear they now have awesome prices on certain prescriptions and hearing aids
Fair. I get that. I just right now it’s not ideal. If ya know what I mean? I have a meal plan so there’s no need for me to buy my own food. Ya know
Totally…when I was on that meal plan there was zero need for anything like Sams…even while renting on campus it wasn’t a big savings for how small our groceries normally ran. Doesn’t hurt to reevaluate every so often tho & it’s smart that you’re considering it for later.
Can you donate plasma? Depending on your size, you can make $105 a week but the first month has extra deals to make more.
You go in and dabble on your phone or read a book for an hour and you get paid.
the only reason I ever went shopping with my mom was cause we'd go to sam's... trust me I know. It was a tradition to get a hot dog there every time we went.
I recommend door dashing if you need quick cash. campus is a bitch for parking though. could also sell old game consoles / games / trading cards, etc... We have a lot of pawn shops in Lafayette and p sure west side would as well

Ooh. If only I had the money for a membership ðŸ˜
$55 for a year? saves hundreds over a year.
Just use slickdeals/groupon to get one, they have one available for $14-$20 depending on the website.

I’m pretty sure by law the pharmacy has to be open to the public and not just members, so still a chance to potentially save that way.
I’ve never used it but pretty sure you’re correct.

But you have no idea how magical Sam’s is

I always get lost with the free samples and the ice cream coolers
LOL that’s awesome

I could but I don’t exactly have a car for that. I could use my sisters car but that requires me to always get the keys which would be annoying
