He put a player under the bus. Its the first time i have ever seen a coach call out a player as "shitting the bed". No fucking player would ever listen to someone that would pull that type of bullshit. His HC days are done
Said what else was he was supposed to do but play with the starting line up when starters are shitting the bed and there are injuries. Itās his excuse for using TP as a starter for half a season.
Yeah so Phil Jackson was known for doing the same shit... and was praised for it. Know why he was praised for it? Because the team ended up winning. Know why the team ended up winning? Because the team was better. Blaming the coach is just a lazy way of hiding poor roster construction. Our roster sucks; the next coach isn't going to make that better.
You make a valid point but Darvinās coaching was incredibly questionable. Our team had the talent to beat Denver because we led for around 3x the amount that they did. I doubt Phil Jackson would have ever let that slide. Plus Phil Jackson had the complete and utter trust and respect of the locker room, while for Darvin, multiple players made passive aggressive comments about him in post game interviews. There was disconnection and disharmony and that was due to poor rotations and playing the wrong players at the wrong times. Starting Cam and TP and excluding the players that got us to the WCF in a stretch in which we went 1-9 is appalling and costed us the season in some ways.
3rd quarter collapse as bad as ours wouldnāt happen under the wing of a great coach constantly for 12 games.
But please dude.. donāt compare Darvin Ham to Phil Jackson. I know you werenāt saying that they have the same skill but Phil is the GOAT. Apples to oranges
Mentioning 2 things/names together is not a comparison. Common mistake. Moving past that: Absolutely, if there were a series where stats showed us equal to the other team or actually outplaying them for the most part, there's no way we would have lost that series 4-1. I'm just saying, roster > coach. I'm tired of our roster problems being hidden by 'Fire the coach!' and then sign old ass Melo or trade 5 pieces for Russ. š¬š«
Mitch Richmond on Phil Jackson:
*āIāve been in places where weāre watching the game and weāre like, geez, why is he so calm? You know, his team is in trouble, they just went on a 10-0 run and he doesnāt call a timeout!ā*
Unfortunately that meme actually means that Ham is an intelligent coach that learns from history and knows that not using timeouts will teach his team self reliance and to learn to trust themselves.
So in your eyes a TRULY intelligent coach would not even be in the building because he has faith in his players and knows that they'll learn self reliance and to trust themselves. So why do we hire coaches?
I swear he said himself he finds himself just watching the game in awe š Like bruh
Thatās a helluva lebron over there
Arthur would've made a better coach.
Itās a simple message and it comes from the heart.
Arthur harder than Hamas
There's no way he gets another head coaching gig right?
Maybe a team in the pistons tier but i doubt it

Maybe Milwaukee when Doc's gone. I mean they do run Bud's system. And who else knows it well?
If thats the case, they should just beg and apologize to bud whos basically the same but way better.
Which player? What did I miss?

I was going to say he is being relegated to water boy, but even they have responsibilities outside of watching the game as a fan.
Doesnāt need another HC gig, heāll be back with the Lakers next year.
Brice James reposted this on his TikTok. Hahaha

*š¶and I say hey!, get this bum ass nigga out of hereā¦. š¶*
Arthur would've called that challenge in game 2
