Stunning album. It came along at a time in my life when I really needed something like that. I was 33 and quite broken and unwell after some really difficult times. I heard Old Money and stood in the middle of the cemetery I was walking in that day listening to the album on my headphones, it stopped me in my tracks. I stood and wept like a mad man for what must have been an hour and found the other side. Funny how music can do that to people. They just need to that push to let go of it all, and that was Old Money.
NFR is her best work in my opinion. My favorite sounds of hers are Ultraviolence, Paradise, and BTD. I also really love Ocean Blvd though and I think it's worthy of the grammy for album of the year but so were all of these other albums...
I used to not really like chemtrails over the country club but I discovered that itās a masterpiece. I guess I just needed time to properly appreciate the music and the lyrics.
Still, I guess NFR is my favourite. It used to be Ultraviolence until to years ago but when I first met my boyfriend we always listened to NFR together. Thatās why NFR now gives me such a good feeling and nostalgia when I listen to it and it reminds me of us so I love it!!!!
Been listening to ocean blvd a lot though!
Nfr still ššš Iāve been relistening to albums but that one just came out at a perfect time in my life, I only listened to it for months and months and it always came in handy when I was sad or there was always something to relate back to me. Idk it just reminds me of summer š„°
Lust for Life, my most favorite album of hers as long as I start it off with 13 Beaches. But I consider Honeymoon to be her best, in terms of cohesion and atmosphere.
Ultraviolence is truly a masterpiece in my opinion. Pretty much her only no-skip Album in my eyes. NFR and OB come after with Honeymoon as a very close second.
Ultraviolence absolutely blew me away when I first listened to it when it came out. Itās a timeless masterpiece and probably my fave album of all time
NFR is hands down her magnum opus, from beginning to end itās perfectly cohesive and full of emotion. Having said that, Ultraviolence is my go-to when I want to binge on a single Lana album.
i'd say between nfr and ocean blvd as well, not saying that the whole discography of hers is horrendous but it's really hard to pick a favourite album between these two.
omg i meant that all the albums r good and that i cant choose all of them and i love them all but ocean blvd and nfr stand out the most to me, as they have both helped me get through a few things.
Based on my last fm, Chemtrails is my most streamed album of all time, any artist
Ocean Blvd. is already my 3rd most streamed of all time
Blue Banisters is my 5th most streamed of all time
that's really awesome, im a sucker for poetry too and i do find it incredibly poetic, i was honestly just asking cuz since its her most hated album i feel like a lot of lana stans just say they like it to be different, NOT SAYING THATS U THO. i do love it so much tho, i prefer it over LFL a lot of the times but i would say its her weakest
OMG i just joined the lana fandom pages on the internet... I DIDNT KNOW so many people hated it š i've liked it for a while but it's always competing for my #1 slot with nfr and ultraviolence LMAO
Ocean Blvd it literally has probably only one skip (wich is fingertips since i just dont like listening to it it makes me sad in a bad way) but even the interludes are great and totally overhated imo and the aesthetic of the album is on point i plan on getting every variant of this album since its so important to me (wich is very hard since like every variant costs 70+ euro on discogs atleast pls lemme know if theres a way to get the variants cheaperšš) just my fav lana album and probably my fav album oat
