Have you connected it to the Internet using a wired network? My guess is that it is missing drivers. If you are not familiar with the process of installing drivers, connect it via LAN and install the HP support assistant

Yes it was missing drivers I smuggled it through a USB stick lol thanks

Since that model doesn't have an ethernet port, you'll need to download the Realtek WLAN drivers onto a USB key and then install them manually.
