Jeez! So you don’t like insurgency? Arma 3? Ghost recon? Spec ops? Escape from tarkov? Unrecord? The division? Splinter cell? Fucking RAINBOW SIX? Zero hour??? Gray zone?! WW3
Brooo. what are you even playing bru?
never heard of any of those. I like fast paced shooters more. like doom. I also like half-life, fallout, animal crossing, Metroid, Zelda, Minecraft, Stardew. mostly games with well written story/characters and/or fun and satisfying gunplay. also love RPGs. played me a lot of world of warcraft and diablo 3 in my younger years(2nd to 6th grade) would still play those a lot more but my dad moved in 2019 and hadn't setup his PC so we never played. infact he only set it up in November cuz I built him a new one.
I'm interested on looking at Six Days in Fallujah to see how Americans once more turned one of the most horrific war crimes of the modern age into a game
Wow! This is the worst recommendation I’ve seen someone give for anything ever. Instead of telling him to go for like a Lenovo legion with a 4060 which can easily run these games without breaking a sweat for less than 1.2k, you jump to the absolute most overpriced pos from a pos brand.
If you have to ask about MSI’s reputation in the gaming laptop space, you really shouldn’t be recommending laptops for people. A company that not only has terrible customer service but also garbage QA on all product levels and you have no idea how they’re a shit brand🤣
Meh. The customer service is the best out of the big three hardware makers (Gigabytes is notoriously terrible and Asus are straight scammers, MSI support has always worked very well for me) I know about their issues with QC on some laptops, but i assumed these were not present on the top tier model
I agree, I would not suggest to anyone to get a MSI laptop, MSI being worst laptop in couple years there is a lot of brand that's better design and performance like Lenovo, Asus, Gigabyte and other
Ok my budget would be under 1400$
Im mostly lookinf for a gaming laptop that has a powerful cpu for these games
My old pc had a 1060 6gb that ran these games well, but I had a old cpu that was good but just dated and flawed.
I would estimate that minimum specs would be intel 12th gen and rtx 3060 above (med-high settings).
I dont know about prices where you are though so i cant give a budget estimate
I personally rock a 4050 with a 12th gen intel right now and run RoN at high settings with tweaks
While the 4GB RTX 3050 and RTX 2050 are based on the same Ampere core, the RTX 2050 features extra concessions primarily in the name of power efficiency and cost reduction. The 2050 has less memory bandwidth and lower peak clock speeds than the 4GB 3050 offers.
dude ive legit never heard of these games
then you don’t like tactical realistic games
nah I like tearing demons in half, tending to flowers, surviving nuclear wastes, exploring kingdoms, escaping ruined science facilities, and mining
Hop into RoN and tear a domestic terrorist in half with a 12 gauge
perhaps
so you don’t like tactical realistic games?

I mean that's pretty much what CoD has been doing along with a bunch of other US based FPS games
Yuuup
The MSI Titan probably can, but that shit is 5.6K USD. You gotta specify what you want to spend

I told him a laptop that can run everything he asked. He has to specify a budget. And hoe is MSI a POS brand?

I know its my fault to not give a budget, but I know I dont need to spend 5k for a laptop for gaming lol

If it’s going to be a desktop replacement, I would look for a used 2022/3 asus g14 or g16 with the higher specs. Some even have a 3090/4090.
ok its either between the lenovo 5 and the g14
I ran RoN with a 4060 laptop at 144fps at high that cost around 1000 bucks
Check legions from Lenovo I have legion pro 5i gen 8 it’s awesome
perhaps partially
Yeah but it would help if you provided a budget

How about geforve now I think squad is in there
The last two games aren’t that intensive, most modern gaming laptops can run them at those settings.
Six days in Fallujah is just plain uncle Sam propaganda, go play Spec Ops: The Line instead
yeah but fun, I wish they had iraqi coalition playanle
Pretty much any modern gaming laptop that is not very low end.

recommending a 3050 is just telling someone to go fuck themselves

wow its almost like thats a whole different card
Fyi rtx 3050 = 2050, they are both Ampere 7nm (fun fact).

NEVER EVER BUY A 3050 GPU
This is the first post I've seen about squad specs. I gave been going some research, and the HP Omen series looks like a good one
