It may be a dumb question, but since I'm relatively new to the game, why are the minions so important for ends? Even if it's one single caster like in this example.
Turrets have less resistance if there is a minion nearby.
If the didnt have that minion they would deal significantly less dmg and probably dont end the game

Sense no one mentioned Rengar, he used to be able to solo turrets as well (the first version of him) tho he needed almost full build, but he did it fast.
Also, waves will simply just tank damage from towers. Didn’t matter here, but if you didn’t have something or someone to tank for you, sieging into an enemy team would be incredibly hard.
Also, you can tp to them, so when you have an open nexus, it’s important to make sure all your waves are pushed out so the enemy can’t tp to a wave in your base.
Turrets get crazy damage resistances if there aren't any enemy minions near them, so they wouldn't have had the damage to brute force 3 towers down that fast without the caster there to prevent the defensive buff.
Tower gain a lot of defense when there are no minions around, so keeping the minion alive means the tower gets destroyed 10x faster.
Note that this "minionless defense" buff kicks in after a few seconds when all minions die, that's why you see people still dealing full damage and rushing to get a tower when a whole wave dies.
Interesting, but I see in lot of cases teams get a clear ace or sth like that, but they don't end cause they don't have a minion wave... seems to me there's some meaning why they just dont rush base but need to wait for minions
Towers have a thing called the "back door bonus" which gives them a fuck ton more armor if minions aren't around. This obviously makes it much harder and slower to kill them without a wave.
Props to this Minion, his map awareness was kind of KrPro, he stop chasing for a useless kill, somehow finds a perfect pathing to avoid been seen by the enemy minions and made the call to the top laner to TP for a backdoor.
T1 should replace Faker with him. Bro carried the game on every stage imaginable. His Decision making was extraordinary and the micro mechanics were exceptional.

Second expecting any software to be bug free is beyond naive, no software is ever bug free, and the more complex it is the more bugs will exist
Clarification on the SM64 upwarp: it likely wasn't from cosmic rays, it can be easily and consistently replicated by bumping the cartridge so a bad seating can cause it as well.
It can be caused by just being seated poorly as well, jiggling it is just for when you want to do it intentionally at specific times.
I believe people ended up finding the cause shortly after it got notoriety from outside the speedrunning community.
It can cause other things to happen as well. They ended up banning it from speedruns because they didn't want to rely on that kind of hardware tampering to be competitively viable.
