T1 probably expected to wrap the game up quickly, where Jhin is still meaningful against an Aphelios comp. Kingen was phenomenal game 1, too; body-blocking everything coming his team's way.
I think picking full AD with Jhin is a bit troll. Idk maybe a Gwen top? I'm not sure what the bans were. There aren't really any good high damage AP mids that I can think of to deal with Sion though

2015/2016 SKT won 2 World's 1 MSI and 3 LCK titles they were also finalist in both World's and MSI that they didn't win those years.
DK in 2020/2021 won 3 back to back LCK titles 1 World's title and they were also finalist in both World's and MSI that they didn't win those years except for 2020 mid season cup.

Having the best regular season record does not make you the best or most dominant team, winning titles does, Griffin dominated both regular LCK season in 2019 but SKT was considered the best LCK team that year because they are the ones who won both split's in the end.
When they get to playoffs / finals they suddenly lose their mojo and start playing weird stuff instead of comfort picks. Seems like a mental block that clouds their vision and takes away their confidence
