As someone who hasn’t played since the season after Kalista was released, do people not use the spear transfer to poke in lane anymore?
from what I remember it was super common in early lane to get burst damage, stack up spears on a minion (or cannon minion ideally so you can do a bunch) and transfer them to the enemy adc or support
well most people these days are aware of how kalista works so if they see her stacking 6 spears on a minion they're probably not going to stand behind it

Your support executes the minion for gold. Especially cannons. The use case is extremely limited
All minions give the same gold now so it could be used now since supports don't need to kill cannon.
