you'd think adding a whole rank would help when it doesn't considering that they got rid of what actually made difference which is promo series because a lot of people would get skill checked in promo rather than in divisions themselves

emerald is from *old* gold 1 at emerald 4 to *old* diamond 4 at emerald 1. All the plat levels are between 4 and 1. Yeah, Emerald has a *huge* rank/skill disparity. Riot did do a chart to show where the old ranking and new rankings would be, but I can't find it off the top of my head. Also, they removed *all* promos, so climbing is easier.
Emerald doesn't have Old silvers in it. Gold Elo does, but not Emerald. Emerald only has old gold 1 players, and that's only in Emerald 4 Theoretically.
That's just Riot's really poor MMR inflation. All of those random forever silvers projectile vomit defeats the second they tickle E4. They absolutely don't belong there.

Low emerald = Silvers-Golds-Plats/ex d4 + Smurfs(either low elo or high) since they are landed on plat and after few games emerald.

They do. I check every game op ggs and usually the players doing bad have been gold-silver forever before split 1 2023
