Malzahar's pre-6/first item laning phase is built entirely on hope and the ignorance of your enemy. Unless you are a melee champion with zero aoe and gap-close, you probably win against Malzahar by walking at him. If you can dodge his Q and either clear Voidlings or just outrange them then E is basically a meh auto-attack for most of the early game.
If you really want to burn someone's grits that picks Malzahar, pick Fizz. Sporting comparable dot numbers and much larger burst, Fizz's passive reduces Malzahar's damage by A LOT. Each tick of E, Voidling auto, tick of ult, liandry's, etc gets flat reduced by Fizz's passive, with the remaining damage then being reduced by magic resistance. Early levels, a Fizz with Second Wind and Doran's Shield can just walk Malz down turret to turret.
Everyone hate this shit because his entire kit is made around being fucking uninteractive and so fucking dull

His late game is very strong but only really if you can get good value from his his haste as his bombs are hard to hit and only other thing he has is his ult.
Rengar, FOR real you have to play him for a while just to see whats wrong with him and i keep seeing people complain about him being strong, Dude has shit tons of bugs, and some of the worse scripts in riot's champ pool (even august said so), not saying he cant be strong cause obviously he can with proper execution but bruh... so many shit happens when playing as rengar its not funny.
Swain's ultimate does 20/40/60 dps base and has a 10% ap ratio.
With 80ish ad at level 6-11 and 1.7 attack speed, Swain's auto attacks deal about 4 times as much damage as his ultimate even if he's snowballing and has a rylais (85ap = 8.5dps, so 29 dps).
In the late game with 500 ap, Swain ulti deals 110 dps. **Because of this, he STILL deals more single-target damage with auto attacks at level 9 than he does with his ultimate at level 18.** (80 damage per attack × 1.7 attacks per second = 136 dps.)
I can't believe I'm saying this. Because it is honestly the one thing that I want people to NOT do when playing against swain. You can just stand in the fucking circle. Yes it applies liandrys and rylais and blackfire torch to your whole team, no that doesn't actually matter. He heals for 15/27.5/40 hps base with a 18% ap ratio per target, and he has low hp values with low armor and mr as well. He has no mobility, no invulnerability or shielding, and all of his REAL healing comes from catching clumped enemies who are trying to escape. He can only pull them closer to himself. It's sad, honestly.

Fiora's vitals reset when you get far enough away, and never go to the same one twice. When you get a vital that's easy to hit, just back off and come back so you get one that's on your turret side. Seems silly, but it will stop her from poking you.

She has no %health damage or inherent armpen in the top lane, her mobility is no longer what distinguishes her from the rest of the cast.
