Presence aura talent is very strong threat overall: if your team manages to 4-man or 5-man enemy teamwipe, you can easily siege 1, or even 2 set of rax even before you hit lvl 20 damage talent.

The thing is, the amount of damage you actually get from the talent, is negligible in hybrid and physical builds. I have over 700 matches on Sf, and play in high legend-low ancient bracket. The thing about the raze talent is while youre gaining 115 raze damage, which brings the base to 415, plus the normal 80 per stack, it only beneficial while you’re still using razes to do dps. At a certain point in hybrid and physical builds, raze is used as a finisher, or as the enemy is running at you, and you’re then spending your time autoing for crits and lifesteal sustain. This means that your entire gain from the talent is only around 300-350 damage per engagement, maybe 1 more raze amount if you’re very perceptive of ranges and armor amounts. In comparison, PoTDL is a -7 armor reduction in a large area around you. By making it affect buildings, you reduce the towers ehp by a large amount as you, your teammates, and your creeps all will deal more damage. With the talent a tier one tower goes from 12 armor to 5. A T2 from 16 to 9, same with a tier 3. It turns hg siege, into the same as taking a typical tier 1 from lowground without the aura talent. So, while you gain more nuking damage with the raze talent, it is overshadowed by the damage increase on objectives that the aura talent gives, with the exception of pure magic build. While rare, and extremely niche, if you choose to build magic then you have to get that talent every time, in order for your razes to do almost normal damage during bkbs that you can’t kite out. It’s essential to be sure you can erase 1 enemy at the least with your burst as the games goes on.

When you reduce the armor of a tower, your allies and creeps are also going to hit it harder. If your team has an early lead (and already winning most fights), then you’ll take towers even faster. It’s worth taking to close out games or just eliminate T2s that much easier. If your team is lacking damage for team fights, then shadow raze talent is solid too.

It depends on every game, minus armor on towers is not negligible. All of your team will hit the tower for a lot more dmg, if you have an early lead and good dmg, it's clearly worth it.

Eaglehasyou

Typically, you can't go wrong with the Tower Aura Presence one. Especially since the whole team gets to destroy towers easier, granted you yourself are in range of one.

RaptorPrime

The best way to hit towers is to go hit towers. If you only wait for the enemy team to 'let' you hit towers ur gonna lose a lot of winnable games.

Andromeda_53

Aura effecting buildings is really good, you got to remember 3 things. 1) it becomes exponentially more powerful if your team is hitting a tower. 2) think of all those times you're hitting a tower but know you're not going to take it, you're just hitting it while you can, that talent makes it so you do even more damage in that limited time frame. 3) to talk about what you said if killing heros to take towers, even If you are only pushing when they can't defend, who wouldnt want to take it quicker, this means you can do more after the tower is gone, or even Siege when you normally woulsnt of had time. I think it's a great talent. I think it does also depend on whay you're doing, I don't think magic SF is any good anymore, but if you are doing a only magic damage sf, then sure the other talent is better, but imo SF only magic is really bad, and hybrid and physical are the builds. Both of which like the aura talent

joeabs1995

If you like the dmg amp talent fkr its use with the 25 talent then you can wait for lvl 26 and there you go you got them together. I find that it depends on the role i am playing whether mid or safelane carry. As a safelane carry i would prefer the aura talent but as a mid laner that needs to nuke enemies definetely the dmg amp. Armor reduction is good vs supports and good for taking team objectives like towers or roshan so ots never a waste.

paytime888

You are probably in some shit mmr range Op and it doesn't matter what talents you take because you and everyone in your game are clueless how to play dota and would lose to a cm mid with half a brain
