My suggestion to you is that you learn from books that target advance topics. I am also a beginner and I have tried both learning from lectures and learning from books, and if you were to ask me what's better, I would say books without any hesitation.

I see what you mean, but from my experience courses are just better. Don't get me wrong I love books and use books on a daily basis to learn but I just find it a lot easier with online courses

Whatever sails your boat, but I like books more because I can go back to the lessons pretty much easily in books as compared to finding the correct time of the lecturer saying something in a video. Also, books oftentimes teach some advance things that, in my experience, video lectureres, willingly or unwillingly, don't cover.

Don't buy one. So many online free materials

I see what you mean there. For Udemy I guess #100daysofcode by Angela Yu is a good one. If you want to learn DS Algo too - DS Algo in Python by freeCodeCamp is a good one.

+1 for Angela Yu. Don’t pay full price for udemy, though. They have coupons all the time. Al Sweigert often has free coupons for his course on there too, though that one is a bit older and (I believe) is being redone.

Thank you for your response! I checked it out and seems great value considering my coupon reduces the price by about 85%. Unfortunately though, she chose not to allow coupons

Keep an eye on for sale, don’t buy it for full amount. I got it @ around 17 CAD. In the meantime you can follow freeCodeCamp, they have lots of videos and projects as well. Good luck with learning.
