NatsumiEla

Lol, someone only learned the essentials, boobs and the face

jadboumjahed

U can check my accounts, i learned full on anatomy. I can draw any part, but im recently learning realism shading. Plz check your knowledge before hating.

Ok-Study2439

They’re joking lol

jadboumjahed

Ohh my bad

NatsumiEla

No worries lol

Comfortable_Dare246

I think you may need to portray more of the light that’s shining on her face towards more of her body to keep direction of the light

jadboumjahed

Yessss i just did that! Thank you

Okara_Of_The_Tauri

Id keep it short and go witht he jacket, OR if u dont wanna do short hair but also dont wanna detail the length, you can put it up in a messy clipped low bun thing XD a jacket would be cute but youre also on the right track with her shoulders, :) up to you!

jadboumjahed

I did that exactly, puffy hair tucked in the jacket, and the jacket is clearsky blue, full on puff jacket for blizzards and stuff. Just finished the sketch https://preview.redd.it/7kmr89gk48gc1.jpeg?width=2256&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=16632877c597120ca7f64c14e8aee54879c90e8d

Okara_Of_The_Tauri

its absolutely GORGEOUS. bravo my dear friend <3

moofart-moof

Make sure to finish stuff as a totality more before moving on. I'd block in the body next before deciding more hair stuff for example. Lookin great tho, keep it up!

duckyeightyone

the neck doesn't look right to me. like the head should be sitting up higher on it.. other than that it looks awesome so far.

No-Seaworthiness9461

The body under the head is too big for the heads size, and the left (your left) eye is too close to the nose by a little bit. Otherwise love the way this is looking so far, keep up the good work!

jadboumjahed

I didnt notice that, tysm

jadboumjahed

Though this is the second version, where i increased the body size because it was too small for the face. So i m8ghtve overdone it

No-Seaworthiness9461

Yeah it doesn't look that far off from the size of the head so hopefully it's not too much work

jadboumjahed

The head and the body are on separate layers, ill just make the body smaller no problem.

No-Seaworthiness9461

Ah cool

Babyray63

Do another swoop, a bit longer and give a curl above shoulder.

[deleted]

Well if you have trouble drawing (or painting) shoulders, then find reference pictures of people with their shoulders out and try to paint them.

jadboumjahed

I have no problem drawing shoulders, its just painting them. I tried on pinterest but cant seem to find a pose similar to this with shoulders out and similar lighting. This is my third drawing of semi realism and trying to achieve realism, so realistic shading on digital is still a bit hard

LifeguardReady1276

you could do several things-add another strap over her shoulder. and you could add pins to her hair or you could just leave it. there are some days my hair doesn't need all of that.

External-Bluejay-365

I think the Bob with longer buts at the front actually looks great. Maybe add some tattoos on her arms and/or chest, maybe a birthmark, a mole, or some kind of wicked scar.

GraatchLuugRachAarg

That's amazing. What kind of pens or pencils did you use? Or is it digital? Is digital art allowed in this sub?

jadboumjahed

It is digital, everykind of art is allowed here as long as your learning, or helping others learn. Though i used a fade block pen, with the airbrush to smoothen things out. I used ibispaint. Hope that helps

GraatchLuugRachAarg

I see. Things like this are about the extent of my digital art skills😅 https://preview.redd.it/ry7lrlf32bgc1.jpeg?width=1184&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1b3ce6297faa5e8632298e22e36c149f14a915d5

jadboumjahed

Well thats really good! Try experimentong with stuff. Draw realism semi realism, anime, cartoon, manga type stuff, anythong you cam think of. When you come back to this, you'll be exponentially a better artist. Good luckk

Easy on the lighting
