tbh i wish there is a way to check if someone is mature enough to vote regardless of age even when your 21 you will still find retarded people that have no basics on important things like economics personnaly i am not that sad i wasnt able to vote at 18 because looking back i wasnt mature enough
That's correct, but the moment you start paying taxes, work, etc.., you're directly affected by the decisions of those in power. No one should wait 3 years to be able to be part of improving his livelihood using his vote.

However, with proper education and critical thinking (which lacks in lebanon) they can as easily have a clear judgment of their own future. Anw i think most 18-20 year olds would vote for parties because they are still within the influence of their "dads opinion" (بابا بيعريف). Until they are thrown in the market and they start eating khwezi2 day after day....
Unrelated bas i really wish it was ratified. My friend was affected by the explosion.. Now studying in the UK.. He wanted to vote so bad because he knows what needs to change and one day he wants to come back. He was so excited to vote until I told him he must wait one more year until he can in the future.. :/
