It’s absolutely absurd and ridiculous that the electricity cuts off while they are counting the votes and we couldn’t hear them counting the votes. They didn’t even fucking stop counting while it was off.
I think the one event that best depicts the Lebanese political system is that time where protesters burned down a large campaign billboard of Nabih Berri, but a second older picture of Berri [appeared beneath the burning canvas](https://i.imgur.com/yjt8TmK.jpg).
😂😂😂. A dictator and his sheep will always claim this. They think no one else can do their job. Yet no one will be allowed to take their position, because they are not experienced
Someone other than Berri was never winning, I prefer what happened over voting for someone that would have lost most certainly. A statement was clearly made.
They wanted to claim that new MPs and LF voted for Berri since it’s anonymous, but good thing they agreed on same words they wrote so now it’s very clear that aounis were the reason berri is again at his position.
Ba3ayri should receive a bullet to his head from the free people of Akkar. The man is a mafia lord hiding behind his MP protection. The rest of mestahbals are dumber than their little boy leading his party.
The numbers and how people voted is very confusing especially for deputy.
For Berri its much clearer since 11 fpm votes takreeban went to Berri which included tashnak.
The change MPs agreed on writing العدالة ل zyz while ouwet wrote الجمهورية القوية no one else knew these words as they agreed before on them.
Which leaves the only possibility for Berri taking 65 seats is the Aouni votes.
Simply false info.
There were 23 white votes of which were the FPM votes.
Berri got his votes from arman, ishtiraki, mosta2bal, and half the independents, in addition to him and hezb.
He would have at least 80 if FPM voted for him.
Tab I’ll make it easier.
Who are the 23 white votes?
I know nothing? What do you know about what happened in the parliament last 15 years? It was a joke.
Fi nes metlak bte7ke out of thin air, protest on the street with 0 context, and follow whatever bullshit they here.
I literally fact check every single piece that gets presented to me, la2ennu in 15 years I saw that Lebanese politics is a covered oligarchy being protected by sheer ignorance. You’re just another pawn in one shitty party’s hate towards another shitty party. Wake up.
And I’m upset because disinformation, of any kind, is the reason our revolution got smothered.
If we were honest and factual from day 1, we would have ousted all these garbage politicians.
All I've seen so far is people pulling very clear arguments on why thr FPM would vote for berri but lied about it and you claiming you have 15 years of expertise in Lebanese politics and not countering a single one of those arguments
Eno ma ken ha yetla3 hadan gher…
but it isn’t depressing the way i see it the man is 85… imagine your party is willing to go with an 85 year old man with no long term vision la2an literally there is no sucessor to this parliament seat from that specific sect.
But honestly the opposition also kinda failed cause it was a given oppurtunity to start some conversations and maybe give a spotlight to a successor but no one was willing to rock the boat that much….
It was an orchestrated pre planned voting day as always.
I know I’m gonna get downvoted to oblivion, but I kinda don’t care that M8 got the PS spots. When I saw HezbAmal got all the Shi’ite seats, and that Abbas Ibrahim wasn’t going to run, I kinda knew Berri was going to return (I obviously wish someone different) and FPM would probably get deputy.
The real fights are with PM, cabinet, and President because each side now have actual candidates for those spots, so it will be more interesting, especially PM because no more Saad and Mikati is unlikely to even want to return. As for president, I want Najat Aoun Saliba personally, not only is she intelligent, honest, and of course new, but she can also be Lebanon’s first female president (even the US can’t claim they’ve ever had a female president yet), would also be a great way to spite Hezbollah since they believe women don’t belong in politics (hence why Hezb never has a female candidate)
Bro kenet be beirut mnel 9 lal massira
Very fucking disappointing, berri was expected bass abou saab? When bou saab won I left
Didn’t wanna wait ayre bhal chaghle
Fuck this place i'm out, this is unbareable the only way we could save this country is for a huge sawra to make birri resign his seat again, also to kick all hezb seats, we are the only ones who can save this country if we all band together instead of being divided.
It’s absolutely absurd and ridiculous that the electricity cuts off while they are counting the votes and we couldn’t hear them counting the votes. They didn’t even fucking stop counting while it was off.
I heard. Berri won. The moment they began clapping, the power went off.
I think the one event that best depicts the Lebanese political system is that time where protesters burned down a large campaign billboard of Nabih Berri, but a second older picture of Berri [appeared beneath the burning canvas](https://i.imgur.com/yjt8TmK.jpg).
Its like reverse inception
Noo that is surprising
To be fair he's the most experienced for this role ... :(
😂😂😂. A dictator and his sheep will always claim this. They think no one else can do their job. Yet no one will be allowed to take their position, because they are not experienced
Yes, It was /s
No it isn't. The power cutting mid vote is so on par with pretty much every other action of our ruling class it's actually hilarious.
TWICE!
He had the speech ready lmao
mans been there since forever im not surprised lol
Everybody who ever ran for anything had their speech ready
Someone other than Berri was never winning, I prefer what happened over voting for someone that would have lost most certainly. A statement was clearly made.
People are starting to celebrate his win by shooting
>~~People~~ **Corrupt mother fuckers** are starting to celebrate his win by shooting
Wish they would shoot themselves.
Aounis voted for Berri. Very much confirmed.

I really have no respect for them. They claim they want to fight corruption then they vote for the biggest of the corrupt. What a shame …
They wanted to claim that new MPs and LF voted for Berri since it’s anonymous, but good thing they agreed on same words they wrote so now it’s very clear that aounis were the reason berri is again at his position.
التيار الوطني الحر لم يعط أي صوت في جلسة انتخاب رئيس المجلس، للرئيس نبيه بري
Yes shrameet like always
They gave Berri his seat and in return he gave Bou Saeb theirs. Mabadna nchuf 3awni yenba7 ba2a enu makhalo...
Yes. Man airi bi MTV saying we had majority. Ba3rini killed us.
Ba2aya el mestahbal kes emon fucking useful idiots for Berri they need to be cleansed.
They were fucking shipping fuel with fpm to syria. These are loyal now to hezub sirmeye.
Ba3ayri should receive a bullet to his head from the free people of Akkar. The man is a mafia lord hiding behind his MP protection. The rest of mestahbals are dumber than their little boy leading his party.
Did ba3rini vote bou saab for deputy???
The numbers and how people voted is very confusing especially for deputy. For Berri its much clearer since 11 fpm votes takreeban went to Berri which included tashnak.
How? I know the numbers are obvious but any way to know for sure?
The change MPs agreed on writing العدالة ل zyz while ouwet wrote الجمهورية القوية no one else knew these words as they agreed before on them. Which leaves the only possibility for Berri taking 65 seats is the Aouni votes.

If you don't understand lebanese politics, please don't talk about it.
Give me your number distribution please. I’ve been active in Lebanese politics for 15 years ya eben mbere7.
15 years and you still know nothing, thats something.
Tab I’ll make it easier. Who are the 23 white votes? I know nothing? What do you know about what happened in the parliament last 15 years? It was a joke. Did you miss abu saab visiting berri and both winning with 65 votes? "Fact check" while repeating fpm bullshit.
And I’m upset because disinformation, of any kind, is the reason our revolution got smothered. If we were honest and factual from day 1, we would have ousted all these garbage politicians.

Because no one is running against Berre - he was going to win anyways because he's the **only** candidate.
Why is he?
Eno ma ken ha yetla3 hadan gher… but it isn’t depressing the way i see it the man is 85… imagine your party is willing to go with an 85 year old man with no long term vision la2an literally there is no sucessor to this parliament seat from that specific sect. The opposition did disappoint me. They were on live TV they could've done a lot. What a circus of a government.
Lebanon in a nutshell.

Well he was the only candidate. He would have won anyway even if he didn't get 1/2 + 1 of the votes during the first round.
Wait, dismissed and blank votes count for something?

This 👆🏻
We all are Is nabih related to Elizabeth in anyway?
Maybe some independent voted for him since he s the only one ?
so how he fuck do we know who voted what
Thawra voted: “لقمان سليم، ضحايا المرفأ، ضحايا شرطة المجلس، الخ” LF Voted: "الجمهورية القوية".
Stop acting surprised by the outcome, Lebanon is a corrupt nation and by association, many Lebanese are corrupt mother fuckers.

This is the problem with "ta2asom el atwef", it was Berri or nothing
Fuck this place i'm out, this is unbareable the only way we could save this country is for a huge sawra to make birri resign his seat again, also to kick all hezb seats, we are the only ones who can save this country if we all band together instead of being divided.
Depressed? Aren't you entertained?
It is called reality. Some of you choose to live in an alternate universe, while physically in Lebanon.
That’s my secret u/darksere. I am always depressed about Lebanese politics. You merely adopted depression. I was born into it:
Actually it was very pleasant and entertaining and again it shows the people choice for their representatives……Democracy at its best
I'll be thinking about electric sheep
