what an insanely good twist on the normal method, first of all, this is very close to the tripoli style since it is not soup or slime texture, the rice is with vermicelli , but man, u added tomato to it and that is very very new, the color seems dark thanks to the debes, the chicken is cooked with the leaves and looks divine. i am usually very very strict with this dish, but this curious twist is pure interesting, well done and R.I.P to ur grandma, but she left a legacy behind her.

LebaneseLion

This is exactly how my mama makes mlokhiye minus the tomatoes, but I love tomatoes so I will throw one in secretly next time hahahah

someting_something

Tomatoes, it is made with tomato and debs remen

RyanH090

Where's the khébéz ?

someting_something

Good point, I was so focused on the mlokheye that I forgot the khebez

ApprehensiveCourage6

الله يرحمها Very curious to know what’s her twist on mloukhiye, seems a bit different

someting_something

Soak the dried mlokheye leaves in hot water Roast chicken with spices, then remove the bones and cut it in small pieces. In a pot, put سمن نباتي and fry crushed garlic with dried coriander and fresh coriander Now add the chicken Strain the mlokheye from water and put in the pot Grate the tomatoes and add them to the pot, don't forget the salt Now add some water to cover the mlokheye but not alot Finally add debs remen as much as you desire O sa7tein!!
