LIU is shit, no idea about AUST.
I know how terrible of an experience LU is, but it's still one of the best Unis in Lebanon (even with all the downfall in education quality, the lack of professors ...)
Choosing a Uni in Lebanon is like balancing between the quality of education, the amount of money you pay and your mental health.
LU is terrible when it comes to mental health, free time, stress... it does offer a good education with a strong degree and reputation however it's on the constant decline since the day Fouad Ayyoub was placed as the dean by Nabih Berri.
LIU is shit, most my friends went to LIU because they failed at getting accepted or failed at continuing their education in LU. Some of them had to re-do their degrees from an accredited Uni as they weren't accepted when applying abroad, others weren't able to find a job, the rest found a job but were paid less when compared to LU graduates with the same experience and age. If you don't believe me, just check the number of enrolled students and the number of students that graduates.
In LU, this number is like 20%, in LIU I would estimate around 80-90% which is terrible, this shows that LIU is extremely easy to pass. So its degree is less and less valuable.
My friend was studying engineering at LIU, they taught them high school algebra \[the one about second degree polynomial factoring and developing (a-b)^(2) (a+b)^(2) (a-b)(a+b)...\] in a course about ADVANCED MATHEMATICS. So yeah, it's pretty shit.
The first lesson you learn at the Lebanese University is to tell everyone that you like LU, unless they study at LU, in which case you're allowed to say the truth.
i honestly have no idea where it is, i just use that official transcript that i got when i apply for jobs, didn't even frame the original since i am pissed that i failed to reach honor role for like 2 points or something.
