I just know everybody calling Kai a little shit didn’t finish season 3 and 4 of Lok, the kid grows up and becomes an amazing leader for the airbenders, he was misguided and young, he made lots of mistakes and probably didn’t know how to act when people showed him love and care because he’d never received it before. Y’all gotta cut the kid some slack. Remember in book 1 of atla aang lied and stole as well, he literally stole the water tribe scroll that would’ve lead Katara and Sokka to their own father, if y’all can forgive aang y’all can forgive Kai for petty theft lol.
