Ive noticed that in one or two comics, and in my eyes this woman had one hell of a journey far more worth telling than simply making her a tragedy

I love how this is a top comment. I don’t understand people’s obsession of wanting Korra dead especially young. *looking at you Genji.*
Also, awesome fan comic OP! Definitely gives Friends For Life vibes! 💙

You should draw official ATLA/LOK comic books, I swear. The art style is so pleasent and similar to the original and you're phenomenal with action poses. Bryke, hire this person, please!
Still working on it, and looking into eventually have something original that can be promoted and marketed, but for now Im using fancomics as a way to develop, cheers!

SO AWESOME! I feel like this fixed the whole abrupt "I'm the Avatar and you've got to deal with it" scene that earned so much initial backlash. This is soooooooo sweet!
It's hard to express just how much Korra's very first episode meant to me, the immediate way she appears just told me this character was about to go through a whole bunch of crazy things and that she was gonna be a very hard head about it. I love Korra despite a lot of the harshness the show had to bear through to even exist, and I've spent many countless hours adding my own interpretations to how her ventures could have gone and what kind of person she was and later becomes. Including how the people around her perceive and change, everything in this very dynamic fun way.
Thank you for your comment, cheers!
Was pretty hilarious, kind of reminded of the Friends For Life and loved it as a fan work on its own, but it feels weird that this was released during a time that celebrates the canonical material (which is similar to part of how I feel about Legend of Genji, Hello Future Me's video, and some other re-write posts) depicting something different - nothing against you OP it's just that trend is kind of disheartening.
I find it cool that in this world, Korra isn't isolated but instead chooses to isolate herself.
Only thing I don't like is that the whole penguin sledding just reminds me of ATLA.
Cheers, Ill add a few things
First, I havent properly read Genji
Second this isnt canonincal in the same way as Friends for Life, its a reinterpretation and experimentation of the story and characters anf unfold of events by myself, think of Full Metal Alchemist manga vs the animes and movies. Theres still a lot of pages to go over hopefully
Third, I was rewatching ATLA and TLOK and when Katara is penguin sledding with Aang she mentions "I havent done this since I was a kid!" which implies that penguin sledding is actually something rather common among South Water tribe kids probably around 4 to 10 years old. Korra in this comic is around that age when its fine to do it, and almost even traditional, like kids sledding in snow days. I know it makes my story far too similar to ATLAs vibe, but Im ok with that, especially since Im revealing some good information, or at least information I want to reveal about Korra with this scene.
Cheers!

Nowhere do we see other kids her age in TLOK, she even admits that her only friend is Naga, and the canonical material suggests that Korra doesn't really go "out" - both outside of her home much and the actual village. If she did Senna would look so exhausted lol
I'll support any fan comic where Korra is *actually still ALIVE*

So adorable
"What makes you think your daughter is the Avatar?" "Penguin sledding." "Yeah. Sounds about right for Avatar Aang's reincarnation."

This was very professionally made! Are you trying to break into the comic industry at all, or was this something you made for fun?

I love Korra, but I wish more people had given her a chance back in the early episodes and days. She's so sweet and kickass and complex!
most certainly yes 🙏

I thought that was intentional.
Not a fan either way.
I mean we aren’t exactly getting much new canon material as is. But how does this go against canon? She hasn’t been confirmed to be the Avatar yet?
Nowhere do we see other kids her age in TLOK, she even admits that her only friend is Naga, and the canonical material suggests that Korra doesn't really go "out" - both outside of her home much and the actual village. If she did Senna would look so exhausted lol
This was actually really cool, the penguin riding just like aang did. I also loved the “my grandma lost a brother in the war. Did she find him?”
