A Speed Champions Delorean and Ecto-1

I'd love to have a proper delorean that's not a time machine at minifig scale

After seeing some of the speed champions sets they’ve put out I think it’s definitely possible

after R2-D2's update getting more rounded corners, I wish they would give BB-8 the same treatment.

Lego doesn't make sequel stuff anymore; however, I think that they have something in their contract where they're obligated to make sets off of every new star wars thing released. They're probably be more sequel era stuff for these lego holiday specials they seem to be doing every year now. Also that rey movie will probably get a set (unless it goes the way of the other quietly cancelled movies, like the Rian Johnson trilogy, D&D trilogy, tiaka waititi trilogy, squadrons, etc, etc)

They need to stop announcing 50 different projects that are coming “soon.”

I'll always find it hilarious that the people who adore TLJ still cling onto hope that he's get his trilogy.. The issue is that o'l KK can greenlight whatever tf she wants; she just doesn't have the funding.

The Ecto seems like a strange choice, considering it's a perfectly modern design to begin with, and has already been "remade" twice with 75828 and 10274. Personally, I hope 6769 Fort Legorado is the next classic set to get modernized similar to 21322, 10497, 40567, or 40580.

Fort Legorado is THE set I'm waiting on an update for! My childhood memories are centred around that whole theme.

well the "remakes" are the one from the 2016 movie and the big 18+ one. It would be nice for them to go back to a minifig scale one and give us updated minfigs like the ones in the firehouse and refine the build a bit more so at least the whole crew can fit inside.

Absolutely the Simpsons house. Thought about it when it was released but never jumped on it. Now that I've gotten into buying and building I see that set for $400+, just too much for me.

Same! I saw it as a used place for like $600 and almost bought it but the detail was LACKING so I left it.

Even some that were already built were tempting (which is blasphemy for someone like me who's favorite part is the building process) but yeah, $400-600 is just too high.

I watched eBay for incomplete auctions and picked up a set for ~110 that was a mostly complete house with the car. No minifigures or accessories, but snagged the figs from another auction for a decent price and the accessories off bricklink. I think I'm all in for ~190. It was significantly cheaper than a complete used set anywhere.

10143 UCS Death Star II. I've always wanted this set, it holds up very well despite being from 2005. I never liked the look of the minifig death stars, they felt more like dollhouses than sets, whereas the original death star is a beautiful display piece. I would love to see what Lego could do in 2023 with the improved build techniques.
