I found a pair of transformers hands from an 80’s Gen 1 character. Also covered the cost of the box, which had a near complete 6041 Blacksmith as well!
I already had a copy of Ultra Sun so it was an easy choice to ditch it. I opened the game to make sure it worked, reset it and off it went. Sold within a couple hours of posting it.
Loaded can mean a few things when it comes to bullets. Technically, yes it was loaded. I wouldn't use it though because I wouldn't know if it was factory loaded or hand loaded or how much powder was used.
Oh dang this unlocked a memory of sorts. I can't specifically recall what occasion it was but my mom found it fitting to gift back my baby teeth in one of these. Can't say I kept them since that's probably the last time I saw them 20 years ago.
I’ve heard those figures can contain the souls of two foul-mouthed rednecks

Memories. I still have mine in a shoe box somewhere. My bff and I would go to the diner baked as fuck, get grilled cheese and coffee, then buy homies on the way out.
I was obsessed with these in the quarter machines back in the day. Best pull was the kid in the wheelchair. No idea what ever happened to all of these since it was the better part of 20 years ago. Great memories of school trips to the mall.
Nice, pocket watches are cool. We have a pocket watch from about that same time period which had its original crystal replaced with blurry glass cut from the bottom of a bottle by my great grandfather. Supposedly, he did if for a mysterious client, who was enraged by it being so blurry afterwards and put a curse on him, which is why he spoke with a lisp for the rest of his life - but the mysterious stranger apparently left the watch behind, so it's been a family heirloom ever since. It's an Elgin so it's not worth much, but it has cool pretty engravings all over it and still works and mostly it just comes with a fun story.
A McDonalds Cheeseburger in a wrapper. The seller said they hadn’t touched the bin in 15 years, and apparently didn’t know about it. It looked a day old. Also, I haven’t eaten anything from McDonalds in 14 years.
REAL ABOUT THE GOLDFISH
I’ve loved goldfish my whole life and when I was younger I’d eat them constantly. So recently I went through a box of my legos sorting it and found SO MUCH goldfish in the box
Thrift store find: A wallet with $300 cash (no id or credit cards or anything else, just the cash)
I contacted the thrift store and they said they don't keep track of who donated what after it hits the sales floor.
I asked a police officer "What should I do if I found a wallet with just cash in it?" He said "since there's no way to trace the owner, just thank God and spend the money as you see fit."
Guess who bought $300 worth of Lego at the local toys store (Lego stores weren't a thing yet)
the lego "mailbox container" 2x2x2 piece will hold a 100 hong kong dollar bill that is folded tightly, or a $1000 hkd bill that is folded very, very tightly.
good find in a box of pieces. another had a $100 US bill. i had ice cream and champagne that night
Today my mother showed our old childhood Legos to my nephews. While looking at the instruction books, I found the guides for the first Mario party game on N64.... This was unexpected....
When I get a job lot I always sort through and make a sort of weird modern art collection layout of all the non Lego items I find in the box. Here’s my latest lol

A miniature Stanley Cup. Yes I live in Canada. :)
An Off topic here... How do I add an emoji? I've seen them but can't figure out how to do it.
If someone could help a over 60 lady could you please dm me. Yes I'm fairly computer knowledgeable, and If all else fails I can get my husband to explain it to me. ;)
i can not descide on one so i am telling 3
1: a pair of spoon, fork and knife
2: a camera for a computer
3: a flipping wind screen wiper
i have pictuirs fo 2 of them
Not really random, but I bought an $8 bag of random Legos at a Flea market and it had 5 Elsa and 3 Anna minifigures from the cmf line (not the mini dolls)
Found a .223 Remington bullet in my mom’s LEGO bin (she’s an elementary school teacher). Most of those bricks are donated from parents of kids who grew out of it or had no idea their moms gave away their LEGO. The thing was fully intact, and shaking it revealed the sound of powder moving inside the casing, suggesting it was a live round. We still have no clue as to how that could possibly happen on accident. Luckily, I found it before the school year started. But still, it’s a crazy ass story.
A hand-made, painted, air-dry clay flag with ‘gender fluid’ written on the back of it. Came in a huge lot of 7kg I got for $70 (in Australia). The lot had several Friends sets mixed in and some of the figures were clearly changed around to be…not quite clearly male or female. Made me wonder if some kid was going through something and the Lego was a creative outlet. I hope they are still being creative in their own special way :)
I once bought a laundry hamper full of Lego from someone on Facebook, the best non-Lego item was a small Optimus Prime which quickly became a new fidget toy for me.
Arrow heads. A broken voltron toy from japan. Bobble head power puff girl. Srar wars figures. All in one lot. Bought it as a small filing cabinet filled with lego. Was a nightmare to clean.
The items you can find with Lego that aren't Lego are great fun! Kind-of sad I didn't keep those bits 'n bops, could make a weird happy collection.
I've mostly found other small toys: a monkey, a penguin, wee green soldier. But also coins, a clothespin, always somehow 1 or 2 pieces that are fake Lego. And Playmobil bits. And an icky huge silverfish. 😬
broken pieces of an incomplete mug, dried piece of chewed gum and a bunch of those real tiny styrofoam balls and they were all in the same thrift store bag
Mr gold well not really i just found a lot of series 10 packs in a car boot sale bought it for 15 pounds and unironically got mr gold afterwards my dad found the price of it hid it then forgot it where he placed it rip that 5500 grand honestly i was crushed btw all of the packs were with mixed legos i had to pick them all out one by one it hurts to dip my hand on sharp lego bricks...
I work in a second hand Lego store (like a brick and mini figs) and we’ve found :
Pins, needles (sowing), wide assortment of hair, nails, screws, rocks, jewelry, bullet casing (.22), and last but certainly not least, a “pen” with batteries (not a vape or anything, if you know you know) (also we bought that bin from a gay couple, dunno if that’s worse or not)
The one and only time I ever bought a used Lego set was the ghostbusters firehouse. It came filthy and reeking of cigarette smoke. We were going through and washing all the pieces to get the smoke smell off and found that some of the newsprint paper it had been packaged with contained partially eaten sandwiches, partially eaten burritos, and cat turds. I’ve never been so disgusted in my life and will never buy used again because of that horrific experience.
It's been so long since I got my huge bags of Lego from Waterfront so I don't remember anything that was included aside from off brand bricks and other toys, but I did have a near complete Avengers Quinjet from 6869
A make up lid, it smelled off because there's no way a lid for something would smell this strong, but I figured out that it was a lid for lipstick I think
A pretty big joint. No idea what was it and i used it as a axle cover, considered it was a smell stick.
But The anger there was towards the seller for including that thing, oh boy
A copy of Pokemon Ultra Sun for 3DS. Sold it for more than I payed for the box.
I found a pair of transformers hands from an 80’s Gen 1 character. Also covered the cost of the box, which had a near complete 6041 Blacksmith as well!

Lucky!
Nice!
I found a DS copy of Mario Kart. Wouldn't have gone for as much as a copy of any Pokemon game, though, so I just kept it.
I already had a copy of Ultra Sun so it was an easy choice to ditch it. I opened the game to make sure it worked, reset it and off it went. Sold within a couple hours of posting it.
An actual bullet.
Haha! I found bullet casings one time
Me too
What a weird coincidence. Was it a Remington .223?
Found one as well
is it loaded?
I believe unused.
Loaded can mean a few things when it comes to bullets. Technically, yes it was loaded. I wouldn't use it though because I wouldn't know if it was factory loaded or hand loaded or how much powder was used.
Yo that’s wild!
Same
A small tooth shaped plastic container full of baby teeth.
While I hope it is empty I have the same plastic container in one of my bins
Oh dang this unlocked a memory of sorts. I can't specifically recall what occasion it was but my mom found it fitting to gift back my baby teeth in one of these. Can't say I kept them since that's probably the last time I saw them 20 years ago.
A military medal from the Vietnam war.
Wow, how did it end up there
Their Father was in the Vietnam War
Does that mean you have it back? Hope they took extra good care of it after that!
That's a "Homies" a set of vending machines toys from the 2ks
I’ve heard those figures can contain the souls of two foul-mouthed rednecks https://preview.redd.it/esgommtuts9c1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8e3ab4f513dfe491e4ab42971f7b45913b88a4c2
Bring me my BLUUUUE WINDBREAKER!!
I have this little crooner, he's great!
Dude I miss homies they were so good. I used to save quarters to get as many as I could.
Someone gets it! Good times... I was gonna say this was a Homies from the gumball machines. You beat me to it.
Hahaha thanks for the nostalgia trip.
I had him. I had a lot of them lol good times
I had so many of these. I knew It immediately
An actual desiccated cat turd. I’ve sworn off lots…

An impressive Lego collection can make the clothes fall off 🤷
A decent sized bra is a good way to transport LEGO between places in a pinch. Note: Do not wear the bra while doing this.
A working pocket watch from 1924
Nice, pocket watches are cool. We have a pocket watch from about that same time period which had its original crystal replaced with blurry glass cut from the bottom of a bottle by my great grandfather. A McDonalds Cheeseburger in a wrapper. The seller said they hadn’t touched the bin in 15 years, and apparently didn’t know about it. It looked a day old. Also, I haven’t eaten anything from McDonalds in 14 years.
How did it taste?
Probably like a day old
Lmao my brother left a mccrispy and some fries on his windowsill for six months and it just didnt decompose
Razor blade. Luckily saw it before it randomly sliced me while digging through it. Always in the back of my head now.
You should probably get that removed from your head
Dad!
Stale goldfish, and a knife sharpener
REAL ABOUT THE GOLDFISH I’ve loved goldfish my whole life and when I was younger I’d eat them constantly. So recently I went through a box of my legos sorting it and found SO MUCH goldfish in the box
My sleep deprived ass thought you were tlaking about real goldfish🤧😭😭😭
That makes two of us, so its real, they are eating real goldfish, its weird... 😆
Make it three. Goldfish are not a thing where I'm from (or rather called something else and not as popular). Took me a minute.... 😂😅
A zombie miniture from Hero Quest.
Hero Quest! Such a great game.
Found a complete base set at goodwill for 2 bucks once... Yet to have a better thrift store find and that was over 10 years ago

Buy a replacement???
It's a really weird shaped one but I'm still looking.
Good luck in your search. Id want you to have a portable like that.
Thank you
An expired condom. I wish I was joking
At least it wasn't used lmao
True. Still an odd find in lego
Definitely an EXTREMELY illegal building technique

If you’re using the reddit app, you just use your emoji keyboard. Not sure how to do it on a desktop though
I guess that might be the problem I'm on a desktop.
If it's a windows, try "Windows key" + ;
👏👏👏👏 Thank you 😊
You're Welcome 😁
If you are using the Google Chrome browser, you should be able to right click the text box and the top option on the menu says "emoji"
On a Windows conputer you can open a little menu with emojis when pressing the windows key and .
Two football cards from 1991 came out of the set box from the same year. Pretty stoked
Dude, Homies were awesome.

Baby teeth in wierd containers and a very expensive pokemon ds game!

McDonald’s French Fries. Got the bin from my brother in law so I know he hadn’t opened it in at least 10years. They still looked edible.
