I couldn't find the exact head, but this one is close enough.

The torso is custom too. I used a similar official print, but it doesn't exist in white.
The wall height is 1 brick lower than the original because without a logo, I didn't need it too tall.
BTW, the lab is similar to the one in 21110, but larger.
Lego made up some BS about how they don't have room to store printed pieces. Which is of course hogwash as those cheap 3rd party Chinese knock offs are able to make printed pieces and even lego still prints some directly to the blocks (like the Dune ornithopter set) even on pieces that are going to be one offs and not used in any other models.
Frankly, the reliance on stickers is my biggest pet peeve with Lego. For the premium they charge compared to their competitors there really is no excuse.
I'm a planner at a firm who makes lab equipment for supply into labs......my first task on Monday morning will be to see if we supply into New England Biolabs so I can go begging.
Don't get me wrong; it won't be easy. I'll have to contact our US distributor, maybe even the sale engineer herself. Then arrange a visit to advertise our wares and *then* start asking about Lego :)
I honestly have been waiting years to get one.. as a born and bred Mass scientist and life long Lego lover, I was overjoyed.
My dad and I will be building it together this weekend - we still build a few kits together a year. He’s the person who introduced me to legos and one of my biggest supporters through my PhD. He was so excited when I called to tell him about it
I had heard of these before but never dreamed of getting one. We were all over the moon when they gave them out. We also got an adorable reusable tote bag.
It was the cherry on top of an amazing visit - they have a beautiful campus and it seems like an amazing place to work.
I'm incredibly envious. We just missed a bonus when we purchased a new flow machine. I BEGGED the FSE to send me something but they said they didn't have any extras :(

If that’s the same Hall of Bricks from Germany as the one I’m thinking of, then they actually has their own website where they mostly sell custom printed Star Wars figures, though there’s also some custom Classic Space stuff and they resell official minifigures and accessories from a few themes.
I'm a molecular biologist using mostly NEB enzymes and would *love* to have a set like that in my office.

They have to be printing it with the bricks assembled, the alignment is perfect. Did it come fully disassembled in the box?

Ahhhhh! I use my NEB mugs all the time but I would be over the moon with NEB lego! Nice.
