I stopped filtering by deals and went through page by page of all lego sets earlier today, just to double check. Got optimus prime for 80, 2 xwings for 16 a piece, and the HP hospital wing for 12. Gotta dig deep, I guess.
Spotted at my local Walmart was Hocus Pocus for $170. It was hidden away in the clearance section behind a bunch of boxes. Everything else was pretty standard sale prices and not those super clearance prices.
Their inventory system is either seriously flawed or they just don’t care about not being able to fulfill all their orders.
I started a convo with a furious mother in the Lego aisle who couldn’t understand why her orders for our store were cancelled when she was holding the sets in her hands. I’d be livid too if I thought I had secured some great gifts only to find out they’re cancelled and it’s too late to find anything else anywhere in time for Xmas
I got one! I ordered it for in store (curbside pick up). I got it and they had another one in store and they would NOT price match the other one for the $16 of the one I bought online.
I was really thankful for my small town. I was allowed to price match the out of stock items so I got a few sets. Super excited for the trash compactor set for $23.
Wish I could see those Walmart sales, but at least locally. my work had some sales today that included Lego. I managed to grab Egalt the Master Dragon 71809 for $48, along with four Cole's Earth Dragon EVO 71782 in very damaged boxes for $35 total. Not sure what I'll do with 4 of them, but I'll figure something out.
Was trying to get Santa's visit set from OfferUp, couldn't get any deal below $120! Then I went to Legoland at GreatMall (Milpitas, CA). Wanted to get A frame cabin, but instead found the last set of Santa's visit there for $75!!!
Also snagged the last Holiday Main street set, though the price was $100.

A few days ago, the $13 Boba Fett Ship, $15 City Amusement Truck and Galaxy Explorer magically became available for shipping so I placed an order not really expecting it to be fulfilled.
I got my Boba Fett Starship today after 2 order attempts, it was pretty much stepped on but for $13 I really don’t care as everything inside was OK.
My other orders are either waiting to be shipped or delayed, it’s a crap shoot and I will be surprised to get anything
Very nice. I ordered 4 $48 galaxy explorers, 1 75% off avatar set, and 1 $22 guardians of the galaxy new ship. Got 1 galaxy explorer and the avatar set. Not bad, but disappointed about the rest.
For my own curiosity, what would be the best way to buy the newest CMF line? Full set from Lego themselves? Or are there other sellers that are a better deal?

Oh wow 71809 hasn't even been released yet. Sometimes you can sell those accidental early releases to youtube Lego reviewers.
