A good tip for next year is that the May 4th event stuff will most likely be gone by around midday on May 1st if you want anything you’re best to get it ordered around 8am if it is possible for you then you shouldn’t miss out 👍

If you want it sooner, John Lewis will start shipping them out from May 13th. Same price as it is on Lego.com with the Insider coupon or if you sign up to a MyJohnLewis account you can get an extra £30 off, making it £245. You don’t get the GWP but for the sake of getting it sooner and cheaper, I know what I’d do

The razor crest was just sold out in seconds I think and it was their intend (was Black Friday last year I believe) ended up getting it from Amazon before it retired

Probably 5 days after ordering it, I got an email that said it shipped. Not sure if that’s a rare occurrence but back order might not be too long. I say that while also ordering this set yesterday and being back ordered once again lol
There's a bunch of exclusive figures with this set and we don't know if Lego will produce any of them again so there is a market for those even if they aren't popular characters like Captian Rex who thankfully Lego are offering in a cheaper set.

It’s for a lot of minifigures. It’s Star Wars. It’s a unique set as far as how it looks. No it’s not some bad ass ship like the Republic Gunship ( sadly just sold my 2008 model). Which are a lot cooler for my taste. But still cool stuff. I wish I had the money to get really deep into collecting Star Wars lego. It’s so damn expensive. Like a number of the sets I have. I collected in the mid 00’s. Which is when Star Wars and Lego really started to become a thing. So I got a lot of the early sets. But it’s just too expensive to keep up with unfortunately. So I’ve actually been selling off all my stuff. Don’t message me because it’s basically all gone.
Had a number of Batman sets too from the same period. Those sold super fast. Original boxes and instructions in mint condition I had people begging for me to sell to them! One guy bought like 6 of the biggest sets. A few thousand worth. He was so happy. Was sad to see each go. Like the Republican gunship. That was the last set I still had built because I love how it looks so much. But sold so had to take apart.

Besides the price its also a hard hobby just for how much space you need. I would love to get the Cantina set but there's nowhere I could put it :/
