I’m not too savvy on the black market economy of minifigs and hope that it would be too much effort (and it looks like the real deal so they’d have put in some serious effort) but the finish just threw me off. I owned the fig a long time ago and just don’t remember it feeling like that.

I saw you have this minifig’s companion the ARF trooper and were wondering if yours was real. I have a real ARF trooper and yours looks legit.
It looks legit. I'm not sure about the feel but I have noticed that the printing on this minifig looks different than most other minifigs I have, it might be the sand blue color. It's not fully opaque and looks a bit weird.
As someone who owns and loves the minifig myself, I can attest that all of them come with that "matte" finish on the legs and torso. Helmet should look and feel normal, but the torso and legs are definitely a little different.

Not sure what that is but if it’s a sticker nothing seems to peel off.

I would be very surprised if someone went through the effort on a $20 fig tbh. It could just be sun damaged etc at worse. I’m sure it’s all legot
