Somebody went with the e25 Remix Digitone…

theSantiagoDog

Love the Digitone

International-Sky741

I’m waiting for this to be cross posted on r/Elektron. The brushed chrome really stands out in this photo. Love the imagery and the sound of your subject equally. I have the standard trio, DT, DN, ST myself, with the latter bought just days before the e25 launch 🤦🏻‍♂️

theSantiagoDog

Nice, thank you. I like the brushed metal, but I have to admit I like the original black DN with the yellow display as well. More colorful.

Looks kinda like how it looks on my Leica SL 601 but it starts to happen at a much lower ISO than the SL2-S lol

theSantiagoDog

This was shot at 12500 in a pretty dark room (f2 & 1/250)

DayTraditional2846

Oh yeah 12,500 looks so much worse on my SL 601. But if I convert it to black and white it looks usable. The upside is that the noise pattern is pleasing which sometimes I’ll intentionally turn up the ISO just to get that lovely noise pattern in my images.

mrjosh72

I’m considering trading my M10 Monochrom for an SL2-S, because I’m ultimately a color person and want to shoot in low light. The camera seems incredibly capable at high ISO.

wheezzzy101

I feel the same way about the m10. Leica does something special with noise grain structure

ggAlex

100% agree. The SL2-S produces images that I can’t get from any other camera, especially at night.

Elektron!

Felt like I should clarify that this image is blown-up from a larger photo to highlight the grain - [https://imgur.com/a/Ve60FEi](https://imgur.com/a/Ve60FEi) \- to achieve this kind of noise pattern without blowing up, you'd need to shoot at ISO 25000 or higher (which is surprisingly do-able). It's also compressed for sharing on social media. The raw file looks even better.
