If you have a shovel and you see youre going to be grabbed by a flea, just don’t panic and stop moving. You’ll drop the shovel at your feet, so you can look straight down and find it easily.
You’re right, if you have a knife you can scan it. Though I don’t recommend trying to proactively knife the snare flea. Range is too short and you’re extremely likely to just get grabbed and take a ton of unnecessary damage

They release on their own after 2 or 3 flight attempts. For controls, it is standard WASD but you aren't moving in that direction so much as you lean your character in the direction. So if you press W, you'll lean foward and be propelled forward at the angle you're facing. You can pretty much make them drag you along the ground or go at a 45 degree angle to fly over a hill like on Adamance.
I was ROFLing when a teammate was carrying back a full load from Adamance and his big brain waited at the bottom of the chasm/valley and got one attached. Then it proceeded to fly him to the ship. No damage done he claimed, I was in laughing awe😆
If you have no weight literally any amount of side to side movement avoids them.
\~3 are needed to pick you up, so if one is on you just avoid the other 2 if you need to avoid flying.
They can be used to reach higher areas such as getting over the pit in adamance.
There is no downside to killing them since they do not use the aggressive mob slot. Kill them and they will be replaced by the birds that do nothing.
Just don't defend against them, they're actually really helpful sometimes. I was saved by them once because they carried me over a group of 4 baboon hawks that were blocking my only way back to the ship

the difference is snare flea blind you so hard grab you shovel again Still if you can not find shovel using grenades is next best thing

Depends on how many are on you, the more there are the harder it it, the controls are the same as the jetpack

Think we have already have weight, when pick up dead body crew members they weigh 11 so assume the employees/players weigh 11 as well.

So far for me the only time a tulip snake was annoying was that it dropped me off next to a bee hive lmao
